The fourth season of the popular show "The Voice" has ended on Channel One. And the winner was the ward of Grigory Leps, hieromonk Photius. In the last competition, he won by a large margin, gaining more than 70 percent of the vote.

The finale of the final episode of the popular show turned out to be quite exciting. Traditionally, at the first stage, four finalists performed in a duet with their mentors. Olga Zadonskaya sang the song "Cuckoo" with Polina Gagarina, Era Cannes sang "You and I" with Basta, Mikhail Ozerov sang "How Young We Were" with Alexander Gradsky, and Hieromonk Fotiy and Grigory Leps sang "Labyrinth".

Then the participants performed solo, and according to the results of the vote of the audience, the Era of Cannes was the first to leave the stage.

According to the media, Photius decided to leave for a monastery at the age of 20. He serves in the Borovsky Monastery of the Kaluga Region, sings in the church choir. The mentors are grateful to the participant for coming to the project. At the same time, the hieromonk previously said that the archimandrite blessed him to participate in the music competition.

The new stars performed one more composition from the repertoire of their mentors. As a result, Zadonskaya dropped out, and, as Dmitry Nagiyev wittily noted, “more bearded participants” remained. In the end, Photius won by a large margin, with over 70 percent of the vote.

It is curious that before the start of the show, the clergyman told reporters that he was very worried and suspected that the vote in the final could turn against him. But at the same time, Photius hoped to win and did not rule out the option of a trip to Eurovision. According to the hieromonk, he is not tempted by the idea of becoming a pop star, but he will not refuse to tour with concerts.
