Many doctors advise women not to have children after 45 years. However, 72-year-old Adriana Iliescu intends to break her own record and become a mother again. Now the woman is raising a five-year-old daughter and believes that she is quite capable of giving birth and raising another baby.

According to Adriana, a writer and teacher of Romanian literature at one of the universities in Bucharest, she does not smoke, does not drink and does not feel like she is 72. Well, maybe 27, however, when she gets a little tired - 37, but not more. A woman is active and healthier than many of her peers. However, as the elderly mother says, she tries not to approach the mirrors, because they remind her of age.

She already has a five-year-old daughter Eliza, whom the woman gave birth to in January 2005, becoming at that time the oldest mother, writes The Daily Mail. Adriana herself does not tell her daughter about her age, emphasizing: "When I turned 40, it became my personal business."

Now the woman is thinking of having a second child. It must be admitted that this is a very bold decision, since Adriana is being severely criticized from all sides. “From a medical point of view, it is quite possible,” says the Romanian. - I know that in England they have already carried out a kind of test for the fertilization of a 70-year-old woman. They did it. I am perfectly healthy, and in principle I could become a mother again. But so far I don't have enough inspiration."

According to Iliescu's personal calculations, if she manages to live the same long life as her parents, then by the time of her death Eliza will be 20 years old.

At one time, the woman had to use IVF, because in the very prime of her childbearing age, Adriana was too busy. The situation is similar for all women who decide to become mothers when they are already at retirement age. They work hard, build a career and, as a result, they do not have enough time to find a partner, the writer states.
