Do you use your mobile phone often? Don't you notice anything special after that? According to the results of an experiment conducted by scientists, it was found that frequent use of the cellular reduces brain activity.

In the experiment, which was conducted by a group of scientists from Austria, Britain and the Netherlands, about three hundred people took part, of which one hundred "test subjects" spoke on a mobile phone very often, one hundred rarely, and another hundred did not use such communication services at all. All volunteers were required to perform various tests for attentiveness, memory and reaction speed. After that, using an electroencephalogram, scientists evaluated the differences in their brain activity.

In the future, it is planned to increase both the duration and the scale of the study - 17,000 volunteers will have to take part in it.

The study found that active cell phone users have a better concentration of attention, as they often have to focus on the call and abstract from the surrounding noise. At the same time, the members of this group had many cases of slowing down of brain activity, as well as a decrease in the speed of reaction. However, the authors note that the "slowed down" indicators of brain function, noted in the representatives of the first group, were within the normal range.

Recall that two weeks ago in Britain ended a six-year program to study the impact of mobile phones on human health. To date, scientists have not recorded a single case of brain cancer or any other diseases in fans of cellular communications. At the same time, scientists recommend that parents not allow their children to use cell phones or do it as little as possible, since a fragile child's body is more sensitive to radio exposure.
