Tom Cruise is having a difficult time right now. The actor is recovering from an injury sustained on the set of Mission Impossible - 6. But trauma isn't the only problem. Cruz was named implicated in the deaths of two pilots on the set of the film "Made in America".
The tragedy took place two years ago in Colombia. A small plane crashed during filming, on board were stuntman Alan David Purvin, pilot Jimmy Lee Garland, Colombian native Carlos Berl. Purvin and Garland were killed.
Now the relatives of the victims have gone to court, accusing the film company Imagine Entertainment, Vendian Entertainment and Cross Creek Pictures of violating security protocols. Moreover, the director of the film, Doug Lyman and Cruz, who played the main role, are accused of neglecting safety for the sake of their ambitions, namely, trying to "shoot an action-packed, extremely risky project", demanded several times to re-shoot scenes with stunts on the plane. And that led to disaster.
The premiere of the film "Made in America" is scheduled for the end of September in the United States, and the film will be released in Russia in October.
