Tom intends to return to the Mission set in October. According to the star, he quickly recovers from an injury (ankle fracture), is quite vigorous and ready for active work. "I'm going to return to filming in a couple of weeks," - quoted the celebrity People.

The premiere of the film "Mission Impossible-6" is scheduled for July next year, and Cruz does not want to disrupt the schedule. “Tom wants to thank all of you for your care and support. He is looking forward to next summer, when he will be able to share the film with everyone,”- said in a statement from the film company Paramount Pictures.

Let's remind, usually the actor tries to perform dangerous stunts on the set on his own. During filming in August, 55-year-old Cruise jumped from scaffolding to the roof of a nearby building, but did not quite correctly calculate the trajectory of the jump. The actor received a strong blow, but independently climbed onto the roof with the help of safety cables, then he realized that he had seriously injured his leg. Tom left the site under medical supervision.
