Video: Year 2005. What do you remember?
2024 Author: James Gerald | [email protected]. Last modified: 2023-12-17 14:00
In 2005, our country lived relatively calmly, perhaps that is why it seemed to many that there were no bright events over the past 12 months. Far from it. We have something to remember, something to be proud of, something to laugh and cry about, something to learn and something to never forget.
The Internet magazine "Cleo. Ru" recalls the most striking events of 2005:
60th anniversary of the Victory Day. There are so few of them left, veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Their stories and memories are the very bridge, every year more and more shaky, thrown from our present, fussy and slightly indifferent, to the past - to those terrible years and to that Great Victory, thanks to which we all now live, breathe, love, we create. Our veterans need very little from us - a little attention, care, respect, warmth. And thanks for the granted freedom.
Russia and Ukraine nearly unleashed a "gas war". Ukraine did not want to buy gas from Russia at European prices, believing that it has every right to simply take 15% of the gas transported through Ukrainian territory. The Russian side heard the word "theft". Anti-Russian sentiments have grown in Ukraine. At the same time, President Yushchenko actively insisted on Ukraine's early accession to NATO, and this, according to the opposition, will lead to the fact that "NATO troops will guard the pipe from which Ukraine will steal gas" (N. Vitrenko). Residents of Ukraine are preparing for the worst against the backdrop of ongoing events - they buy firewood, stoves, matches, candles, cereals. After a series of diplomatic duels, Ukraine "surrendered". How long? What will happen next - 2006 will show.
Bird flu. Panic swept across the world. The Russians didn’t seem to be very scared, but, nevertheless, the sales of poultry meat fell by 30%. Bird flu, a disease that has been known for 100 years, has been actively "promoted" all over the world in recent years. Many see this as a secret intention of the Americans, who thus decided to exterminate all the chickens in the world, and then, two years later, fill the starving world market with genetically modified "Bush legs." One way or another, but in our country, not a single case of human infection with bird flu has yet been recorded. It is believed that the virus dies at high temperatures, so it is best to fry chickens and ducks until they are golden brown.
The crew of the AS-28 bathyscaphe was rescued. Entangled in poaching fishing nets and cables of the underwater antenna for coastal surveillance, the bathyscaphe was in real captivity at a depth of 190 meters. The depth to which the rescue divers could descend was only 60 meters. It was possible to free the vessel from the metal cables, in which it got entangled at the bottom, only thanks to the British deep-sea vehicle "Scorpion". The sailors of the bathyscaphe for 76 hours independently regulated the internal composition of the air and believed in their salvation. The real heroes of our time, they smiled, leaving the lifted apparatus on solid ground.
Died actress Natalia Gundareva. The "sweet woman" of Soviet cinema, beloved by millions, has been seriously ill since 2001 (extensive ischemic stroke, coma, long-term treatment). But we all sincerely believed that she would still play many roles in cinema and theater, and, perhaps, even talk about overcoming her illness in some interview. On May 15, 2005, her heart stopped. Natalia Gundareva shone in such films as: "Lonely hostel", "Autumn marathon", "Leaving, go away", "Dulcinea Tobosskaya", "And life, and tears, and love …", "Farewell of a Slav", "Winter evening in Gagra "," Promised Heaven "," Vivat, Midshipmen! "," Moscow Vacations "," Her Last Love "," Citizen Nikanorova is calling you "and others.
Actor Nikolai Karachentsov was in a car accident. For several days he was in a coma, underwent a number of operations, then again learned to move, speak, walk. The whole country watched the beloved actor. Some media outlets have clearly gone too far, exploiting readers' interest in this event. It was hardly worth publishing color photos of a sick and almost infirm person on the front pages, whom we are all used to seeing as a fit lover of life. Although now there is no doubt that very little time will pass, and the former Karachentsov will appear on the same strips - smiling, indefatigable, full of plans for the future.
Mikhail Evdokimov died. The death of the governor of the Altai Territory and the famous humorist in a car accident is still shrouded in mystery. He was disagreeable to many, uncomfortable, he wanted "revenge in his own way." The only surviving witness of the tragedy - the governor's wife - does not remember anything, because at the moment of a collision with another car, she bent down to straighten her shoes. The official version of the tragedy is as follows: Evdokimov's driver exceeded the speed limit, creating an emergency on the road.
Khodorkovsky was jailed. The oligarch and former president of the Yukos oil company was sentenced to 9 years in prison in a general regime colony. Someone is outraged by this outcome of the case, someone gloats, someone is perplexed. But the overwhelming majority is absolutely indifferent to all this, because this event in no way affects pensions, salaries, or taxes.
The new Russian cinema is slowly but surely making its way through a thick layer of serial soap and blunt action films. "9 Company", "Fool", "Zhmurki", "Distant Relatives", "Fight with a Shadow", "Garpastum" and others - these completely different, controversial works inspire hope in the bright future of Russian cinema.
Screen adaptation of "The Master and Margarita" directed by Vladimir Bortko. For the first time, a film based on Bulgakov's great mystical novel was not only filmed, but also presented to the audience. And this is an Event. According to the ratings of the RTR channel, every third resident of the country watched it. At the same time, sales of the book "The Master and Margarita" increased several times. Most of the actors play excellently, the script practically does not deviate from Bulgakov's text, there are a number of cameraman's, director's, and acting finds. But! The special effects pumped up so much that all the undoubted advantages of this film are crossed out by one bold minus. Let's assume that for a decent, “believable” film adaptation of the novel, this time there simply wasn't enough money. Perhaps the time of the real "revival" of "The Master and Margarita" is still ahead.
Reality show is a launching pad in life. Who said that the residents of "House-2" spend their time idly, living in their pioneer-camp paradise? They, by the way, become megastars before the eyes of millions. May and the Sun sang, the Karimov brothers sang and danced, Roma and Olya began to host talk shows, Alena and Styopa began acting in films. All more or less pretty girls of "House-2" and other reality shows were snapped up for erotic filming in men's magazines. Lena Berkova became a porn star at all. And all these people already have millions of fans. This is how they become stars of show business today.
Star baby boom. VJs Aurora and Tutta Larsen, ballerina Anastasia Volochkova, athletes Maria Kiseleva and Svetlana Khorkina, singer Eva Polna, actresses Inna Gomes, Victoria Tolstoganova, Anastasia Tsvetaeva, Amalia Mordvinova (aka Amalia & Amalia), Maria Shukshina became this year. Indeed, as the ad says, it is fashionable to be pregnant. And this is a great fashion! And along with the fashion for children, the fashion came to give newborns unusual names. For example, Anastasia Volochkova named her daughter Ariadna, Tutta Larsen's son - Luka, and Aurora's daughter … Aurora.
Pugacheva and Kirkorov divorced. Back in March. And this was reported in November. Most of the citizens of our country believe that initially, starting with the wedding, it was a PR project. Someone believes in love that flared up and extinguished, someone believes that the couple have divorced debts, in which Philip is mired. Be that as it may, the divorced assure everyone of their warm kindred feelings for each other, and Maxim Galkin promises not to marry Alla Borisovna yet. It is difficult to predict anything, but, most likely, Kirkorov will end a stellar career, and Pugacheva will be a new favorite.
An 11-year-old girl gave birth. This news was "sucked" from all sides by the yellow press and television. The girl Valya, who lives with a grandmother who is loyal to the communication of her granddaughter with men, became pregnant from a 14-year-old boy. Then it turned out that the boy was far from 14 years old, but only mows under one, so as not to thunder into prison. Then the girl and the boy began to persistently marry, take them to wedding shops and take pictures in wedding dresses. Then they were dragged on talk shows, filmed programs about them. This girl was not the first or the last in our country to become pregnant at the age of 11, but she was “lucky”. Then, when the girl finally gave birth and the guardianship authorities wanted to take away her child, enterprising TV people filmed a whole reality action movie with the escape of a girl with a child from the hospital. It is not yet known how this whole story will end, but one thing is clear - the journalists received decent fees, and the TV channels received high ratings due to one little hunted girl who did not want to tell anyone anything.
And finally, about the most curious news of 2005.
Residents of the village of Lokhovo, Irkutsk Region, are tired of enduring ridicule over themselves and the name of their settlement. At the village meeting, a proposal was put forward to rename the village to Siberian, Rodnoe or Bogdanovo. There was no limit to the indignation of the descendants of the founding fathers of the village, proudly bearing the name Lokhovs. The head of the administration of the Lokhovsky intra-municipal formation put an end to the dispute: "A sucker is a sucker in Moscow too. From any village, from any city. And if a person puts himself normally, then there will be a normal attitude towards him, respectful." Sounds weighty, but unconvincing for the residents of the neighboring village of Lokhovo Zhmurovo.
Women 2005:
In 2004, Cleo magazine also chose the brightest women of the year. Then they were Nadezhda Babkina, together with Zhenya Gor, Svetlana Khorkina with retirement from sports after the Olympics, Irina Aroyan with a pink blouse, Anastasia Volochkova with a forced departure from the Bolshoi Theater, Valeria with a wedding with Joseph Prigozhin, our tennis players with victories, Zemfira with her dress and, finally, Ksenia Sobchak with confirmation of the unofficial title of a socialite. In 2005, only our favorite tennis players managed to keep the brightness. The rest went into the shadows, making room for other, brighter stars.
Lyudmila Gurchenko - 70 ?! Many people say: "What do you want - she did so many plastic surgeries! Her skin was pulled so that her eyes do not close!.." As for "plastic surgery" - who can argue, but is that the only thing? How many actresses do we know who shine on stage and on television at 70? And not just occasionally appearing to scare their former fans: "God, how old she is!", But those who continue to surprise, delight, shock, cause envy. After roles in such films as "Carnival Night", "Station for Two", "Flights in Dreams and in Reality", "Straw Hat", "Beloved Woman of Mechanic Gavrilov", "Love and Doves", etc. Gurchenko is forgiven for everything, even singing a duet with Boris Moiseev.
Maya Plisetskaya - 80? !! It doesn't fit in my head. It's impossible. This is even more impossible than 70 years of Gurchenko. At 80 they don't look like that, they don't talk like that, they don't walk like that, they don't live like that, and they certainly don't do any ballet steps. Her life is worthy of a novel, like the love of her husband Rodion Shchedrin for her, after almost 50 years of marriage, saying: "I never get bored with her. I hope she is with me too." And the fame that Maya Mikhailovna acquired at a very young age and carried through her whole life without falling ill with star fever - is this not the ultimate dream of any ballerina? And her ideal figure, who remains slim and youthful decade after decade? What slimming capsules does she drink? Which plastic surgeon does he communicate with? Plisetskaya's answer is simple: "Don't eat!" This is the secret of her slimness. And also - to dance all my life, furiously, tirelessly, without self-pity. The secret of her success is in the indomitable willpower, talent and character of the winner. So they become living legends.
Anastasia Zavorotnyuk - "nanny-nanny-nanny, children are happy with her!.." This year was the high point of the previously little-known actress. Several factors coincided: a sitcom (a comedy of situations) about a nanny, which has been running for a long time in many countries of the world, the humor of people (mainly former KVN scholars) who adapted the series for Russian viewers, excellent partners on the set (which is, for example, a butler in performed by Boris Smolkin!) and, finally, Anastasia herself - perfectly fit into the role of a beautiful nanny from Mariupol. For this role, Anastasia Zavorotnyuk received "Teffi". Although the exquisitely sarcastic Zhanna Arkadyevna performed by Olga Prokofieva deserves this prize no less.
Oksana Robski, who wrote the novel "Casual" about the hard life of "Rublev's wives" and became famous overnight. The novel reads easily, is not devoid of humor, it would look good in a women's glossy magazine. Pavel (Snezhok) Volya from the Comedy Club program retells the content of this work as follows: "I woke up … Even everything is somehow wrong … I went to the bath with the money - I was sleeping. I woke up … Thinking of some kind of business … I didn’t come up with anything. I went to the bathtub with the dough - I was sleeping … "With the current unhealthy interest of our society in the residents of" Rublevka ", a film based on the novel" Casual "would have passed with a bang. However, it seems that such a film is already being shot.
Yelena Isinbayeva, the world's first pole vaulter who has overcome a height of 5 meters and is not going to stop there, one of the richest women in Russia and a secular lioness who is gradually getting into the taste of glamorous life, created her first scandal with her own hands. Without explaining anything, she left the coach, who was her "second father" for eight years, to Sergei Bubka, her sports idol and just an interesting man. The fact that the abandoned coach Yevgeny Trofimov is hurt and offended is understandable even in the words: "I gave Lena such a technique, such a leap that now even a ZhEK locksmith can train her, and not only the highly respected Sergei Bubka." We will not find out who is right and who is wrong, but simply wish Elena new world records and bright victories.
Safina, Dementieva, Myskina, Sharapova … - Russian tennis players who continue to inspire male singers to compose songs (Umaturman, Leningrad) and shoot videos (Umaturman, Igor Nikolaev). Although it is possible that these songs and videos were created only at the height of fashion for star girls in pleated skirts and with rackets. By the way, Maria Sharapova amazes not only with her victories on the court, but also with multi-million dollar advertising contracts concluded with various companies. So, for example, just for her participation in the advertisement of the antiperspirant Lady Speedstick, the tennis player received a fee of $ 6 million.
And finally, Cleo magazine chooses Ksenia Sobchak as the 2005 anti-heroine. Of course, the saying: "Don't be born beautiful, but be born active (and in the right family)" is largely true, but you can't take everything so literally. You open the magazine - Ksenia is there, in erotic poses at a photo shoot or in new outfits at a party. Open the newspaper - Ksenia is there again, canceling the wedding or commenting on something. It's scary to turn on the TV in general: if you don't get on "Dom-2" (which is unlikely), you will stumble upon a program about the stars, where Sobchak, the presenter herself, is the main star, or you will simply see this girl who has something to say absolutely on any question … Soon the same story will be in the bookstore: Ksenia is writing a book about how to dress for those who do not know how to dress as well as she does. Perhaps Ksenia Sobchak just wants to give joy to people and teach everyone something kind and light. We readily believe, but this year we are awarding her with the honorary title - "Eye Corn 2005".

We will remember
I saw something amazing today. I accidentally turned on the TV, and there was a game. The famous TV presenter asked the famous actor questions. An actor, a popular favorite, a thirty-seven-year-old boy had to say in what year the blockade of Leningrad was broken. Even hints were given: 1941, 1942, 1944, 1945
Year 2004. What do you remember?
The film "Night Watch" was released. The first Russian blockbuster on a global scale. After the film, many rushed to sweep the books of the science fiction writer Lukyanenko from the shelves. And someone has read all "Patrols" for a long time. "Everybody get out of the gloom!", The vampire hairdresser Lagutenko, Gosha Kutsenko, unobtrusively advertising "Nescafe", the transformation of an owl into a woman, blood from a child's nose floating through the air like smoke, "Go to the cinema!" a loud whisper on TV and a badass dog
