Not only poor students are forced to sit in pairs during the day, but in the evenings to run to work in order to be able to dine with something more refined than simple pasta and stew. Adults with decent experience also sometimes find themselves in a situation where, after or instead of a working day, they need to rush to study, prepare for seminars, exams, or write a dissertation. Whether it's a second degree, getting a license to drive a car or studying for graduate school - it doesn't matter. The important thing is that, combining work with study, they must keep up with both there and there.

Not every boss will appreciate your pursuit of knowledge, unless he himself has sent you to refresher courses. In another case, you run the risk of running into misunderstanding on the part of the management, which is confident (and not unreasonably) that you should perform your duties as well as possible, and education is a voluntary choice: they say, why study if you already have a job? So it turns out that at work, no one is particularly happy to hear your statement that on some days you will have to leave early, and on others you will not appear at the office at all. You have to manage to do in a day what other people stretch for two, or even three days. Small household chores that take up so much time are added to study and work … And now it seems that a nervous breakdown is just around the corner. How to cope with the load that has piled on you overnight? How not to drive yourself into a corner while maintaining both the status of a student and an executive worker?

1. Place dots over the i

It seems that the ideal way out of this situation is formalized study leave. However, in matters of its provision, there are a number of nuances, for example, if you get a second, not the first, higher education, then do not expect the employer to immediately agree to let you go on a legal paid "vacation". He just doesn't have to do it. Therefore, if you find yourself in a similar situation, then it is better to agree in advance with the management of the work plan for the next month or two. Explain that you just need to leave work early sometimes, but are willing to work twice as hard the rest of the time. Let your boss know about all of your seminars, lectures, and exams.

2. Don't ignore lunchtime

You shouldn't leave all your schoolwork for free time after work. Use whatever opportunity you have to read the necessary literature or rewrite an important synopsis. A great option is lunchtime. If you take food with you or have a snack in the dining room, then it usually takes you about 20 minutes to eat, no more. You can devote the rest 40 minutes to study. Do you think that this way you will not let your brain rest? Nothing of the kind: changing the type of activity is very useful for him.

3. Make a schedule

You must clearly know when you are going where and when you are doing what. Naturally, this applies to study and work. To avoid confusion in your head, make it a rule to plan your day from the previous evening. You probably know the schedule of couples for tomorrow, and also remember about the tasks of the authorities, which "bleed from the nose" must be done. Be sure to write them down in your diary, and then strictly follow your own schedule.

4. Feel free to ask for help

Both at work - with friendly colleagues, and at home - with children and husband. Do not expect to become a wonder woman overnight and be able to drag home, work, and school. You need help with something. Therefore, do not hesitate to ask your husband to wash the dishes after dinner, and ask your colleague to write an important letter and make a couple of calls. By the way, the same applies to classmates: do you remember how you copied notes on missed lectures?

And what is stopping you from doing this now?
