  • dried hawthorn fruit;
  • 2 tbsp. l. honey;
  • lemon;
  • 1 liter of moonshine;
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon;
  • 3 carnation buds.

Preparation:

  1. Pour dried hawthorn fruits into a jar of moonshine, which can be bought at any pharmacy.

Hawthorn tincture may not be to everyone's liking, but homemade liqueur will certainly be appreciated. The recipe is very simple. Unlike liqueur, the liqueur turns out to be softer, with a characteristic aroma of fruits and a sweet and sour taste.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried hawthorn
  • 1 liter of vodka;
  • 2 tbsp. l. honey;
  • ground cinnamon on the tip of a knife;
  • a pinch of vanillin.

Preparation:

  1. Pour dried hawthorn fruits into a jar. If fresh are used, then take 1, 5 glasses.
  2. Fill the berries with vodka, which can be replaced with 45% alcohol, moonshine or brandy.
  3. Close it hermetically with a lid and leave in a dark place for 20-25 days. The berries should turn colorless or slightly yellow. Shake the contents of the jar once a week.
  4. Filter the finished tincture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth, squeeze the berries.
  5. We heat the honey in a water bath, and then mix it with cinnamon and vanilla.
  6. Add honey with spices to the tincture and stir well.
  7. We again tightly close the jar and infuse the drink for 7 to 10 days.
  8. Filter the finished liquor through cotton wool if desired to get rid of the turbidity.

In addition to cinnamon and vanilla, you can add dried herbs to the drink: mint, oregano, lemon balm, St. John's wort, as well as other spices, such as anise or cardamom.
