Once, in a dream, a girl from a Ryazan village appeared to him, who in a dream cured the prince. The girl Fevronia was found, and she really put the prince on his feet, who, in return for his health, was supposed to marry a beautiful woman.

But Peter recovered, did not fulfill his promise and left for Murom without a girlfriend. He decided that it was not appropriate for the Grand Duke to marry a simple peasant woman. Having passed already half the way, the prince began to cover with painful ulcers again. Peter had to return to Fevronia and ask again for treatment. The peasant woman cured the prince, despite the fact that he did not want to become her husband. She charmed him with her beauty, economy and character.

Peter himself did not notice how he fell in love with a simple girl. Muromsky no longer listened to his surroundings and happily married Fevronia.

The couple lived happily all their lives. When old age came, Peter and Fevronia dispersed to their monasteries to live out their days. They asked their loved ones to be buried together in one coffin. Husband and wife died on the same day - July 8. The monks decided to bury them in different coffins, considering such a burial to be a sin.

But what was the surprise when, during the burial, everyone saw that the married couple was lying in an embrace in the same coffin. And then they decided to bury them together without separating.

Believers go to pray on their relics in the Holy Trinity Women's Monastery in Murom. When Russians celebrate family day, they try to be sure to visit this holy place. This is how the holiday will take place in 2018 in Russia.

But there are also contradictions in this belief. It is believed that all the evil spirits, before stopping to harm the common people, try to play tricks on the last day as much as possible. But on July 9, the people can no longer be afraid of evil evil spirits.
