The first thing to remember is that kitchen wallpaper must be resistant to moisture, comfortable to clean, and durable. They should not absorb odors and be afraid of fire. The kitchen is an area of increased danger. This is "must be" and "our father" in the wallpaper business, and no design decisions should distract you from this thought.

What types of wallpaper are in the highest demand?

In the interior of the kitchen, you can combine different materials: wall panels, ceramic tiles, stone and wallpaper itself. The latter can be non-woven. They are breathable, not afraid of fungus, do not fade for a long time, and they can be painted several times.

Popular for kitchen decoration and fiberglass. This is a paintable option. They are especially good if there are small cracks and defects on the surface to be coated. Glass fiber can easily decorate flaws.

The advantage of this type of coating is that they can be painted with acrylic paint or water-based paint several times. Tired of beige? For a day, the kitchen becomes, for example, blue, complemented by new accessories or dishes to match.

The top three are completed by liquid wallpaper. To apply them, you do not need to specially prepare and process the walls. They are applied simply - like plaster. As a result, you get a coating that visually resembles fabric or wood. This will make your kitchen especially cozy.

In no case should you use liquid wallpaper in the work area, they have one drawback - they are afraid of moisture.

For the workplace, it is better to use ceramic tiles or the so-called apron. Today, there are many of them with various patterns: cityscapes, geometric patterns, gradients, floral and abstract designs.

Ideal, of course, is to consult with decorators. Professional education and experience will allow you not to break the wood, and make the interior correct and reflect your taste. But if you are not ready to trust someone else, then you will have to "shoe up" yourself.

For the kitchen, it is better to choose red, orange or yellow. These colors stimulate appetite, increase attention and motivate us to be active.

Of course, we are talking about using softer shades in the basic interior and in the wallpaper. The brighter elements are already decorative details.

Cold colors - blue, purple, green, blue - are not the best way to decorate a kitchen space, unless, of course, you are on a strict diet for life. White is considered a universal color for the kitchen. It is associated with the sun, visually expands the space, goes well with all other colors. In order not to overdo it with sterility, white wallpapers can be combined with brighter ones, highlighting an accent area, for example, a wall opposite a kitchen structure.

An excellent "partner" for white walls will be murals on an accent wall or a covering with a bright abstract print.
