Currently, eleventh graders are interested in what changes in the exam in the Russian language in 2021 will await them. An exam in this subject is compulsory. For this reason, the preparation process should be treated responsibly. It is necessary to study in advance how the final check will take place, as well as what will change in it.

How significant are the changes

The latest FIPI news makes it possible to understand that serious changes in the exam in the Russian language, which will take place in 2021, will not affect. Compared to the 2020 options, there will be minimal changes.

There will be three of them in total:

  1. Complicated wording of the ninth task of the first part.
  2. An increase in the number of points when evaluating an essay according to the K2 criterion.
  3. Modification of task 27, which is an essay.

You should familiarize yourself with all the wording in advance, as well as decide on trial versions and write several essays in accordance with the new rules.

What has changed in task 9

Judging by the latest news published on the FIPI official website, the updated task should simplify the exam process. But some teachers have already commented on this change. They believe that the 9th task of the first part of the exam has become more difficult.

The examinee has to choose from a list of words, the root of which contains an unstressed vowel being tested. At first glance, it may seem that there is nothing difficult in the task. But if you compare it with the options of previous years, it becomes clear that the child will take more time to complete the task.

Now in the answer options, the words are written in full. Previously, the letter was missing in the right place. The examinee simply had to choose a test word and write out the appropriate answer options.

Now the procedure for completing the task consists of the following stages:

  1. Conducting morphemic parsing of a word: highlighting a prefix, root, suffix, end.
  2. The choice of those options, the roots of which contain an unstressed vowel.
  3. Selection of cognate words.
  4. Recording a response.

The child will spend a few minutes on the first two stages.

Since the assignment will now take more time to complete, many teachers have disagreed with the Ministry of Education. Also, the difficulty arises in the fact that the current eleventh graders have already spent enough time preparing for the exam. They are already accustomed to the old wording and answer options. Now they will have to re-adapt to the new assignment.

What changes have affected the composition

The remaining two changes in the exam in the Russian language in 2021 affected the second part. Earlier in the essay it was enough to indicate the connection between the examples that were given by the examinee. It will need to be explained next year.

In the opinion of the Ministry of Education, it is not enough for those who check whether these examples are opposed or complementary to each other. The child needs to explain why he decided so. Moreover, the answer should be given in expanded form.

It is this point that will be added as a change in the wording of the assignment to the essay.

Previously, it was possible to get 5 points for the K2 criterion, now their number has been increased to six. For the correct explanation of the relationship between the examples, another one will be added. The total number of points for an essay in the Unified State Exam in the Russian language will increase to 59.

Outcomes

According to the Ministry of Education, the changes in the Unified State Exam in the Russian language are insignificant. In total, the 2021 exam has undergone three innovations. However, many teachers spoke negatively about this.

The wording of the 9th task was not only changed. The answer options have taken on such a form, because of which now the child will have to spend more time on the task. Before you pick up test words and write down the answer options, you will need to parse the words in composition and determine those that fit the rule.

Essay writing was also made more difficult. It is not enough for the examinee to indicate the relationship between the two examples given by him. It is necessary to explain and concretize it. For the correct completion of this task, the child will receive an additional point.
