In recent times, beach fashion has never been more free. There are simply no clear trends, it all depends on the mood and the situation. Bathing suit this season is bright, playful and, most importantly, comfortable. The use of embroidery, knitted motifs, shells, beads, appliqués, beads, metal clasps and rivets, lacing, frills make a bathing suit not just a functional thing, but also an element of style … Flounces, guipure, pleats, lace and ruffles, ribbons and roses - all designed to serve as decor and flirting detail. Extremely fashionable elements in the decoration of a bathing suit are cords and tassels. Even the very shape of the swimsuit becomes an adornment, a decorative element. One gets the impression that many designers have taken classic one-piece swimsuits and simply, in a fit of inspiration, have walked over them with scissors. The squeak of the 2003 season is a swimsuit with an open back and a deep neckline right down to the navel - such an unusually sexy outfit will definitely appeal to fashionistas.

New collections of the most famous designers of the planet at the recent show of "Wild Orchid" in Moscow are a clear hint that the coming summer will be marked by unprecedented seduction. Bathing suits will excite only one desire - not to take your eyes off them.

Still considered exotic for beachwear, printed flowers are as relevant as ever this summer. The combination of contrasting colors of the upper and lower parts of the bathing suit allows you to combine several models with each other, and sometimes all models of the brand's collection. The main trend here is mix & match: combining conflicting colors into a single ensemble. Simply put, the tops and bottoms of swimsuits are different not only in colors and patterns, but often in fabrics as well.

Beachwear in 2003 did not escape the influence of the 50s - the shape of some swimwear became more chaste. Super open thongs were replaced by wide panties decorated with frills, and the top looks more like a top. The 80s borrowed fashionable colors - military, photo printing, "animal" themes and contrasting drawings, as well as an abundance of decorative details.

Laser processing of fabric is widely used: edges are cut off, an ornament is cut out, a texture pattern is applied. Along with traditional materials, chiffon, silk, cambric and even faux suede and denim stretch are used. Translucent inserts and shiny fabrics (Wolford, Argentovivo), rhinestones, sequins and metal buckles (Argentovivo, Christies) - the beach suit is more and more reminiscent of an evening outfit. This bold assumption is only confirmed by beach accessories, which today are made in the same colors, and sometimes from the same material, as the swimsuit. Kerchiefs, mini-skirts, shirts and trousers have replaced huge colorful pareos and shapeless panamas.

This season, the style of the cups has been simplified. They are soft, conforming to the shape of the breast. Quite wide straps of swimsuits in most models are tied around the neck with a large knot, which also serves as a decorative element. The American armhole of the top in combination with a low waist is very popular - panties on the hips, medium open. Both open and closed swimsuits are presented in equal proportions.
