35-year-old American Stacy Herald, who is today known as the smallest woman in the world, became a mother for the third time. Two weeks ago, Stacey gave birth to a son. At birth, the baby weighed only 1 kg 193 grams. Currently, the child is under medical supervision, but in spite of everything, his mother believes that the boy is the most beautiful of all whom she has ever seen.

The Herald, whose height is only 71 centimeters, actually decided on a feat. Three and a half years ago, doctors warned a Kentucky resident that pregnancy and childbirth could be dangerous to her life. According to doctors, a fetus growing inside Stacy can kill its mother. But the diminutive woman decided to challenge the doctors. Her 27-year-old husband, who is studying to be a clergyman, supported her.

As the tabloids note, the baby was born with a cesarean section a month ahead of schedule.

Stacy Herald has a rare hereditary disease - osteogenesis imperfecta. This disease is accompanied by increased fragility of bones due to impaired bone formation and inadequate development of cartilage tissue. The cause of the disease is a genetic defect. However, despite the illness, in 2000 Stacy met Will, with whom she worked in a supermarket, and four years later they got married. The couple already have two daughters, one of whom is three years old and the other 18 months old.

The woman says that despite all the difficulties, she is really happy, because children are a miracle and her greatest joy: “They told me all my life that I would never have children, but something inside me could not believe it. I think that now we will not stop at three children, because they are our best gifts."
