Nastya Slanevskaya, better known as the singer Slava, is a cheerful, uninhibited and very charming girl. She recently recorded a duet with the American heartbreaker Craig David, and soon the artists are planning to shoot a joint video. Anastasia told the Cleo correspondent about her creative plans, how the economic crisis affected her, and about family matters.

Nastya Slanevskaya, I read that you recently took up yoga, and even went for this to the Maldives to Coco Ryoko Maruno. Did you like this process?

In fact, it happened completely by accident. When we went to rest, we did not even imagine that such a yoga guru as Coco would teach in our hotel. If not for this fact, I would hardly have gone to classes. Of course, I was delighted with such a master, I even began to get some poses.

Tell us about working with Craig David - whose initiative was it? When can I see the clip?

The fact is that Craig David had the idea to record a duet with a Russian singer. The singer's manager showed him my materials as well. Craig got interested, came to Russia, and we recorded a joint composition. I am extremely pleased that such a talented performer chose me from all our artists! Now we are planning to shoot a video, the script of which is already under development.

In one of your interviews, you said that you impressed him with your "swagger" and the ability to have fun - is that so?

We really had a lot of fun, they don't know how in London, but here we are always welcome!

Nastya Slanevskaya, in general, there is an opinion that in terms of the ability to have fun, no foreigner will surpass the Russians - do you agree with that?

Yes, I think this is actually the case. Many foreigners coming to Russia are amazed at how cool our clubs are. And you can always have fun with us until the morning, which cannot be said about the West, where parties usually end at three o'clock in the morning.

I've never been blonde

Now everyone is talking about the economic crisis, do you think it touched you in some way? Will show business suffer from the crisis?

I cannot say that the financial crisis has somehow sharply affected me, but it is possible that everything is still ahead. I do not understand those people who say that this situation will affect only the richest strata of the population, and those who do not have shares or multi-million dollar investments have nothing to fear. I think this misfortune will not bypass anyone. As for me personally, so far everything is in order with my concerts, although some are still in question. Just the other day I heard from my acquaintances the organizers that in November the number of events decreased by about half compared to last year. All managers are now thinking only about how to keep their company and prevent the dismissal of employees, so they have no time for entertainment.

Recently, the yellow press was full of headlines like "Glory cut her locks."But after all, you "came" into show business with approximately the same hairstyle, why are journalists now so surprised at the change in your image, what do you think?

This is not entirely true. When I started singing, I had long hair, just below the shoulder blades. Then I had to cut my hair because of my participation in the movie "Paragraph 78". After filming, I began to grow my hair again, but I kept the length shorter. My last hairstyle was again a creative activity. This is necessary to create the image that British producers came up with.

Nastya Slanevskaya, do you often change your image, clothing style, hairstyle? Have you ever tried to be a blonde?

If you trace my appearance over the past ten years, then I have radically changed only twice, and then out of necessity, so I cannot say that I have some kind of passion for change.

Although recently I really really wanted to change something in myself, and then it turned out that I needed it for work. But I have never been a blonde. My sister Lena has blonde hair, so I think she and I complement each other perfectly.

The main thing is the family

You are a young mother. Does it interfere with your career? I know that you do a lot of work with Sasha, this probably slows down the creative process, affects the tour schedule?

I can't say that my motherhood greatly interferes with my career, but I always try to find time to be with my daughter. When Sasha is on vacation, we will definitely go somewhere to rest with her. At this time, I shamelessly cancel all concerts and filming, I think that the family is the main thing. But then I fill in all the gaps and work at an accelerated rate.

Does your daughter follow your work or is she not interested in music? Does she have any musical preferences?

Sasha not only follows my work, but also knows many songs, walks around the apartment and hums them. Sometimes even at school she brags that her mother is a singer. And she has no special musical preferences yet, except that soundtracks for Japanese cartoons.

Do you think a child needs to be pampered a lot? Were you spoiled as a child?

My childhood was far from cloudless. Sometimes, in order to buy us fruit, Mom even had to pawn her jewelry. So there was simply nothing to pamper. I think that the child needs to be given everything he needs, and you can pamper him, of course, but only sometimes and for some good deeds.

Nastya Slanevskaya, tell me, is your other half of you not jealous of show business, parties?

Previously, Tolya and I (Anatoly Danilitsky, general director of the National Reserve Corporation of the NRC - editor's note) often quarreled about this. He believed that I was the most beautiful in the world, so he was jealous of me for every pillar. We go to a restaurant, a company of men is sitting next to me, they don’t even look in my direction - and Anatoly has already turned himself on: “They all fell in love with you!” It was just some kind of paranoia. And when she is guilty without guilt, she simply gives up. You get tired of proving to a person that he has no reason to worry. But now, thank God, this period is over.

Are you a flirtatious girl at all? Do you like to play on the nerves of a man?

I can flirt with someone, smile so playfully, but it's not serious. After all, I have a loved one, so these games have no continuation and cannot be.

I am not against sex education

There is an opinion that they make music for the sake of sex - in the sense that when a person is on stage, the most important thing for him is not even money or fame, but the attention of the opposite sex, the desire to win "all men" or "all girls" - you do you agree?

Yes, I also read somewhere that some people cum during their concerts. I don't know, personally I have always thought that people make music for the sake of music, and not for the sake of the opposite sex. The main thing for me is that people appreciate my work, especially now, when I am not only fully involved in the selection and preparation of the material, but I am also a co-author of some of my songs.

In one interview you said that the “sex only after marriage” rule is stupid for you. And what do you think, at what age girls and boys can enter into intimacy - are there such rules at all?

What rules can there be in this matter? In some countries and cultures now, for example, being unmarried at eighteen is a shame. And we are taught to the age of majority, no, no. Personally, I am against this theory.

Today sex is not a forbidden fruit, not a closed topic, to put it mildly. Is this good, what do you think?

I do not mind young people having a good understanding of what sex is. And explaining how to make it sensible, timely and safe is up to the parents.

Nastya Slanevskaya, is the Internet good or evil, what do you think? For teenagers in particular.

Everything is fine within reasonable limits. Some people spend days on the Internet and not only completely escape from reality, but also spoil their eyesight. This is, of course, awful! But as a means of communication and information, the Internet is an excellent thing. I even started a few blogs myself to communicate with fans.

Do you like to attend social events?

I used to hang out a lot, now I have become somehow more careful in choosing events, and there is not so much time left for all this.

How do you feel about Halloween? Celebrating?

This year it was not possible to celebrate, because just on the evening before Halloween I participated in the show of Masha Kravtsova, and I no longer had the strength to hang out. But last year I walked great. Was in a gypsy costume at a party with her colleagues in a casino.

Nastya Slanevskaya, are you starting to prepare for the New Year long? Or does everything happen spontaneously for you?

This is a sore point for me now. We finish building the house and if we have time for everything, we will celebrate there, but if not, then I don’t even know …
