Sweat and dust are harmful to the skin, especially during hot seasons. Therefore, do not forget to carry out exfoliating procedures that will keep your face clean and fresh.

In summer, it is better to choose a chemical peel, avoiding physical exposure, but in a home scrub, you can combine both effects. We have selected several recipes to help you renew your skin with fruit acids and vitamins.

1. Apricot and papaya

For this effective and easy scrub, combine half a cup of peeled, mashed papaya and half a cup of apricot pulp. Add a teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of powdered dried orange peel to the resulting mass.

Make a paste with the indicated ingredients and let sit for 15 minutes. Then massage your face a little in a circular motion and rinse off with warm water.

2. Tomato and almonds

If you have oily skin, a scrub with half a glass of tomato pulp and a teaspoon of ground almonds will come in handy. Massage the product onto your face and leave for 20 minutes, then remove it with a swab dipped in cold milk.

3. Milk and rice

If you prefer to eat fresh fruit rather than apply it on your face, use this ancient Chinese recipe. Stir finely ground rice with milk until a pasty consistency is obtained. Apply the resulting product to your face with massage movements and rinse with cool water after 5-10 minutes. Milk for this scrub should be used unpasteurized.

4. Banana and oats

For another great scrub, you will need half a cup of mashed banana and a tablespoon of powdered oats. Add a tablespoon of honey to this mixture and apply on face for 5 minutes. The scrub works quickly, so after the indicated time, rinse it off with warm water.

5. Mango and almonds

Mix half a cup of mashed mango with two tablespoons of ground almonds and a teaspoon of almond oil. If the resulting consistency seems too rough for your skin, replace the ground almonds with an extra spoonful of almond oil. For the best exfoliating effect, massage your face for at least 5 minutes before rinsing off the mask with warm water.

6. Honey, milk and oats

This scrub combines the cleansing properties of milk with the healing properties of honey. Mix together one tablespoon of milk, honey and ground oats. Massage your skin and leave it on for 15-20 minutes until it dries. Then rinse with warm water and apply a moisturizer.

7. Watermelon and chickpeas

What summer is complete without a watermelon? After eating enough of this refreshing berry, take some pulp and squeeze the juice out of it. Add chickpea flour to it for a wonderful homemade scrub for dull skin. Massage your face gently for 3-5 minutes and wash off with cool water.

9. Pineapple and coconut oil

The enzymes contained in pineapple will help to effectively remove dead cells, while coconut oil will have a soothing effect on the skin. Mix a teaspoon of warmed coconut oil with mashed pineapple and apply the mixture for 15 minutes, then rinse with warm water.

10. Kiwi and brown sugar

Another antioxidant-rich tropical fruit will help your skin stay attractive during the hotter months. Take the pulp of one large or two medium kiwis and remove the core. Combine this mixture with a tablespoon of brown sugar and a teaspoon of safflower oil. Massage on the product and leave to dry, then rinse off with cold water.
