But, you see, the ability to spend money wisely, allow yourself to relax when you can do it, and tighten your belt when necessary, is a pretty useful skill.

1. Make a plan for spending … If you spend a certain amount per month to pay bills, buy food, transport, etc., then you simply cannot ignore these costs - they will not become less and certainly will not disappear anywhere. As soon as you receive your salary, immediately set aside the required amount so that it does not turn out that you have to eat something and ride something for another two weeks, and your pockets are already empty.

2. Don't buy because a friend has it. We often think: "Katya bought a new phone model, I need it too." Is it necessary? If your device is working quite normally and you did not even think about changing it until you saw a fashionable gadget from your friend, then the conclusion suggests itself: you absolutely do not need to spend money on a dubious purchase.

3. Discounts are not enough motivation to buy. How many times have you purchased a piece of wardrobe (or beauty product) after seeing a sale in the store? Probably more than once. But answer honestly - have these always been essential things, do you use them today, or are they, forgotten, lying in the far corner and warming your soul only by the fact that they were bought at half price? The sad thing is that you gave even this half of the price just like that, for nothing.

4. Eat only when you are hungry. It has become a common thing for us to go to a cafe with a friend after a shopping trip and have a cup of coffee. Catering establishments located in large shopping centers earn huge sums of money from spenders, because, as a rule, a cup is not enough: pancakes, cakes, hot dishes, etc. are used. Even the most expensive perfumes will not help you if, forgive me, you take a shower irregularly.

This means that these expenses are unlikely to bring you true joy.
