December is the month when the most desperate rationalists are ready to believe in magic. And the singer Yolka tries to believe in a fairy tale all year round. And not only believe, but also create it for the fans.

In a new interview, the artist spoke about the feeling of beauty so important for women and songs for happy people.

According to Elka, since everyone has different tastes, you shouldn't try to please everyone. “You have to start with yourself and please yourself. There are days when you wake up, look in the mirror, somehow your eye burns, some beautiful cheekbones, everything is in order with your skin. At such moments, if I go on stage with a feeling of this beauty, no one can hurt me,”says the star in an interview with Meduza.

The performer emphasizes that she is trying to minimize negativity both in life and in her work. “I am not singing about unhappy love. Everything is good in my life. We have women who are doing very well, and their songs are continuous decay and pain. I am a happy person, I want to sing happy songs for happy people. Although if everything is bad for me, it is unlikely that I will sing songs that everything is bad. … Smart people come to my concerts who understand everything perfectly. For the duration of the concert - one and a half to two hours - we want to be with them in a naive fairy tale, to leave a place for a miracle in our pragmatic adult life”.
