In the past, a sports star, and now a deputy and just a beautiful girl, Alina Kabaeva is thinking about another interesting project. By the summer, the Olympic champion plans to release a doll of the same name, similar to Kabaeva herself.

An application to Rospatent for registration of the Alina doll trademark from the athlete's charitable foundation has already been submitted. The toy will most likely be produced by a factory that created a doll by stylist Sergei Zverev a few years ago.

However, Antonina Tsitsulina, president of the Russian National Toy Association, says that Kabaeva is likely to be turned down. “It is impossible to make such words as“space”,“Russia”,“doll”,“Alina”as protected signs. You can assign yourself some kind of individual artistic image,”she told RBC daily.

Alina Maratovna recently gave a rather detailed interview and took part in a photo shoot for Russian Vogue. Then her debut video clip for the song "Believe in yourself" appeared on Russian television.

At the same time, it is not yet known how the toy image of Kabaeva will look like. The athlete's charity fund has not yet provided any sketches to Rospatent.

Only the number of dolls is reported. Most likely, there will be about 500 of them. The Toy Association suggests that only one Russian factory, Vesna (in the city of Kirov), can cope with such an order. At the enterprise, the publication "Marker" was told that there were no negotiations with Kabaeva yet. However, they are ready to undertake such work.

Three years ago, the "Vesna" factory released a doll called "Sergei Zverev, stylist". Experts noted that the cost of one toy was several hundred rubles. In retail, such a toy can cost 1 thousand rubles or even more.
