Many people are interested in knowing how much a driver earns in Russia. But there is no universal answer: it is impossible to name a specific figure when it comes to taxi or bus drivers living in Moscow and the outback, in deep provinces or in prosperous regions.

Jobs available today and potential salary

The Yandex. Rabot website currently has 357 current vacancies in Moscow for the position of a bus driver. For example, some of them:

  • a bus driver with any experience of professional activity is offered a salary in the amount of 55 to 90 thousand rubles for work in the District;
  • in Strogino - 50-80 thousand rubles. (with at least 1 year of work experience);
  • for delivering employees from the office and to work they offer 50-75 thousand rubles. (work experience from three years);
  • the transport company is looking for drivers of shuttle buses for 50 thousand rubles.

There are also less tempting salaries - for example, in Khovrino the driver of a service bus is promised from 35 thousand.

A bus driver can work on a permanent basis or on a watch basis and work part-time elsewhere. There are ads where you can get a job without experience, with minimal requirements. But you can count on a salary of 120-130 thousand if you have only a personal minivan.

It is important to understand that before taking up the position, a taxi or bus driver must go through:

  • medical board;
  • psychological testing;
  • examination by a narcologist.

Work as a taxi driver

Statistics call the average salary of taxi drivers - from 35 to 180 thousand rubles.

Taxi driver wages depend on the following nuances:

  • forms of work - only for yourself, picking up passengers in certain places or through a company, the commission in which can vary from 10 to 30% of all earned;
  • having your own vehicle or working on a rented vehicle (from salary minus the cost of rent);
  • place of residence (the cost of a trip per passenger may vary not only in the region, but also by settlement);
  • on how many hours a day he works.

The same statistical studies show that you can earn under 100 thousand rubles in a large city if you work seven days a week. A Yandex. Taxi or Uber driver, where the company's commission is 10-15% (and not a third, as in most private companies), in Moscow and St. Petersburg can earn up to 3,000 rubles a day with an 8-hour working day. If we count the 5-day working week, then this comes out to about 66,000 rubles a month.

In small towns and regions with a low standard of living, this figure can be safely reduced several times. But even in the metropolitan regions, the average earnings means income without a commission to the aggregator, but not deducting gasoline, oil, repairs and car rental, if it is not your own.

Interesting! How much does a programmer earn in Russia

On russia.trud.com, the salary is given - 65 150 rubles as an answer to the question of how much a driver in Russia earns on average. And even on the histogram, you can see that in January it went off scale for 80 thousand, and in September and October 2020 it does not quite reach this indicator.

But where such figures come from during a pandemic, and whether the scanty salaries of taxi drivers in small provincial towns are taken into account in the calculations, is not explained. It is only known that the largest number of vacancies for this position is in the Arkhangelsk, Lipetsk and Tula regions.

Outcomes

The profession of a driver in Russia is quite popular, but it is impossible to give a universal figure for the salary. Its meaning varies depending on different circumstances:

  1. Commissions of aggregators or transport companies.
  2. The region in which the labor activity is carried out.
  3. The number of hours worked per day / week.
  4. Fuel costs and vehicle repairs.
