Director Alexei Uchitel is not one of those who are ready to endure attacks on his work. Recently, a scandal erupted around the new film by the cinematographer "Matilda", and deputy Natalya Poklonskaya turned to the Prosecutor General's Office with a demand to study the script of the picture with the involvement of professional historians and representatives of the Russian Orthodox Church. And now the Teacher himself turned to the Prosecutor General.

Reportedly, several applications have been received in the name of the Prosecutor General of the Russian Federation, Yuri Chaika. In the first, the director asks "to protect the film's staff, employees of distribution organizations from further threats, other illegal actions of persons of an extremist orientation, as well as from publicly disseminated slanderous fabrications of Mrs. Poklonskaya herself."

According to Uchitel, “over the past few months, the deputy Poklonskaya said so many different things and threw so many accusations that it is no longer possible to leave them without attention”.

In the second statement, signed by the cinematographer's lawyer Konstantin Dobrynin, there is a request to check the organization "Christian State - Holy Russia" for extremism. The fact is that earlier activists made threats against the creators of the picture and the audience. The lawyer also asks to check whether Poklonskaya has legal grounds for requesting a check on Matilda.

Recall that in the center of the plot of the new picture is the story of the relationship between Tsarevich Nikolai Alexandrovich Romanov (future Nicholas II) and the ballerina Matilda Kshesinskaya.
