How to make water tasty

Forget about low-calorie soda, iced tea, and other sugary drinks. Plain water can be made delicious with fruits and herbs.

You will need:

  • glass jars or jugs;
  • of course, water;
  • berries, fruits or vegetables;
  • herbs, anything from mint and basil to rosemary and lavender.

Pick your favorite fruits and spices and place them in the bottom of the jug. Fill with water. The aromas and flavors of fruits and herbs should spread over the water, but it doesn't happen so quickly. Refrigerate the pitcher for at least 4 hours. If you want to enhance the flavor, leave the water for 8 hours or longer.

The choice of fruits is not at all important, but their condition is. Only fresh or frozen fruits and berries should be used. This scheme does not work on dried foods.

Calorie Free Juice

The juice that the fruit will emit will give the water a taste, while if it increases its calorie content, it will be very insignificant. In no case should you specially sweeten such a "cocktail": the natural fructose extracted from the fruit will do everything by itself. But you can use not only plain water, but also carbonated water - the recipe will work in both cases.
