Once I fell in love. The object of my passion turned out to be unapproachable, so all sorts of female lure things were used. But here, too, the object of adoration turned out to be resistant to proven tricks, so I took up further seduction under the strict guidance of several of my friends - after all, it is always more visible from the outside. And one of them told me about handmade cosmetics, accompanied by the words: "You must smell like a goddess!" This is how I first learned that there is not just soap, but SOAP!
The prices in the salons of handmade cosmetics turned out to be exorbitant. I paid more than 300 rubles for a bar of soap, and then blissed out for a long time in the shower. I tried everything they had. Having received my salary, I definitely set aside 500-800 rubles for a trip to my favorite salon for the coveted pieces. It lasted six months, exactly until I found a community in LiveJournal where the participants learned to make soap on their own! They got the same handmade cosmetics, only at prices that were acceptable to me. I share the discovery of jam homemade soap.
Main ingredients
The foundation homemade soap - ordinary soap, preferably for children, with a minimum amount of fragrances. The baby soap from the Svoboda factory has proven itself very well. It will take several pieces. In addition, a more perfect composition, a soap base, can be bought on the network. It is odorless, white or transparent.
Base oils form the basis of the soap shavings. These include olive oil, cedar nut oil, almond oil, vitamin E, jojoba oil, cocoa butter, sea buckthorn and others. They can be bought at the pharmacy or in the market. They improve the fusibility of the soap.
Essential and aromatic oils will give your soap a scent.
You can also add coffee, cocoa, various herbs and generally anything your darling wants to the soap.
To prepare one bar of homemade soap, you need:
- Baby soap, 2 pieces.
- Water (or some other liquid) - 100-200 milliliters per piece. The melted soap should be batter-like or slightly thicker in consistency.
- Base oil - 2-3 tablespoons per 100 grams of soap.
- Essential oils - 3-5 drops each.
- Supplements are prepared in advance and as much as you like. But in this case, you will spoil the porridge with butter, you don't need too much.
- Molds in which you will pour your soap.
Sequencing
Step 1. Grate the soap on a fine grater. To do this, you can also use a combine, blender, electric graters.
Step 2. First, you need to put water to boil. We will need a "water bath".
Step 3. Pour the base oils into a saucepan and place in a water bath for a couple of minutes.
Step 4. Pour soap shavings there and mix well.
Step 5. Stirring soap shavings, gently, slowly pour in hot (but not boiling!) Water / milk / coffee broth / cocoa / orange juice (it can be diluted with boiling water). It is important not to overflow liquids! Better to top up later in the process. On average, a bar of soap takes a little more than half a glass.
Step 6. For a long time, slowly stir the resulting soap solution until the lumps are completely dissolved. On average, the melting process takes from 30 minutes to three hours. Watch the water in the pot so it doesn't boil away!
Recommendation: If you have no desire to wait so long, then rub the soap, pour the required amount of warm water and leave it overnight. Overnight, the soap will dissolve and you will have a wonderful soap base. After that, it will only be necessary to warm it up.
Step 7. When the soap has dissolved, pour the additives into it. And hold it a little more in the bath, warm it up properly.
Step 8. Remove from heat and quickly and quickly drip the required amount of essential oils. They erode when heated, so we mix thoroughly, but quickly.
Step 9. We pour everything into pre-prepared forms. Any plastic container is suitable as a mold: a can of mayonnaise, a glass, packaging for cakes, cakes, cookies. It is important that its neck diameter is wider than the bottom. Otherwise, the soap will be problematic to pull out. Children's molds have also proven themselves well.
Step 10. We set to cool. We leave for several hours (preferably a day) in the refrigerator. Ideally, leave the soap alone for several days.
Step 11. When, when you press the soap, you see that it does not squeeze through and comes off well from the walls of the container, you can try to remove it. Now you need to cut it into pieces. This will make it easier to dry. Remember, it will still dry, so it will deform a little and darken.
Step 12. Put the soap in a dry, warm place, preferably on a newspaper, so that the moisture is well absorbed. Soap takes about 2-7 days to mature. You will know that everything is ready when it gets tough, like a normal bar of soap.
Step 13 … Wrap the soap in something beautiful and present to friends and acquaintances.
