We often admire people who have achieved success on their own. And what about those who are struggling with their own problems? They certainly deserve respect. Like 16-year-old Vlad Yakimov from Surgut. Despite the severe birth trauma and the diagnosis of cerebral palsy, the boy himself learned to walk. And now he needs help to forget about his problem forever.

“The story of my son is similar to many other stories in which children suffered birth trauma. She gave birth in the 90s. Then I, like many women in labor entering the hospital, had to "agree on the birth" myself. But it so happened that I didn’t have time …”- says mother Vlada Victoria.

“They put me on a drip with a medicine that was supposed to cause contractions and left me alone. Leaving, the midwife said: "You still have to lie and lie here." But it all went wrong. Three to four hours later, I started having strong contractions. I began to give birth without anyone's help. " When the doctors came, they had to literally "knock out" the child. But the baby was not breathing …

The boy was sent to intensive care, Victoria was advised to forget about what happened as a bad dream and think about another child. But the woman did not back down. It looks like Vlad went to his mother. Despite having his pelvic bones broken during childbirth, he learned to walk with a cane. I took up swimming.

Fortunately, the guy can be brought back to a fulfilling life. The doctors are sure that Vlad will definitely walk!

An operation is planned for the next year in Evpatoria to remove metal structures from the thighs, an operation of tendon-muscular plasty to correct the deformity of the ankle joint and feet. The cost of surgery and rehabilitation during the year, according to the invoice, is 1,448,180.00 rubles. And each of us can help the child. And helping him, perhaps, make his life a little better.
