Another lady, having graduated from the psychological faculty of Moscow State University, gives private lessons in English, and therefore also has very little idea of what a complete lack of money is. An acquaintance who came up with PR campaigns for prominent politicians worked as a courier for a couple of months in order to keep fit in the summer, and it turned out that they did not pay so badly - it was enough to go to rest. And the weight has decreased by six kilograms. How do you like this weight loss system? However, this is not all: another psychologist with a higher education in his spare time comes up with slogans for billboards and texts for greeting cards. So if you suddenly find any of them especially strange - do not be surprised, everything is in the order of things. Psychologists, as you know, are sometimes even too original people.

Examples can be continued endlessly, both related to deeply intellectual creativity - from the writing of books "for dummies" by programmers to the design of cafes, and purely mechanical, like counting forms with signatures in defense of a little-known candidate of a little-known party (by the way, an insane amount of money is spent in elections just like that; I witnessed how people who just processed the forms were taken home by taxi in Moscow, having paid the standard fee of a girl of easy virtue per night for five hours of work before that) and cross-stitching.

What is good work hack?

First, and this is probably the most important thing, it teaches a person to the idea that money can always be obtained, regardless of his constant work. People who know how to use additional resources receive much less stress when changing jobs, adapt more easily to a new place, and, on average, have a more flexible psyche, which is absolutely useful in big cities, where the average day is filled with so many stressful situations that the inhabitants never dreamed of. other settlements and in a week.

Secondly, a part-time job allows you to buy things without thinking that you are doing something stupid. Thirdly, hackwork, part-time work, brings variety to work life, allows you to escape from the routine, overestimate yourself as a professional or (and this is absolutely wonderful) realize your creativity and do something completely different, but more satisfying. So, my friend sculpted masks first for herself and her friends, working as an accountant in a boring firm that was almost engaged in the production of laces, and over time her work began to be in demand and she unexpectedly turned into a professional sculptor.
