Almost all women know perfectly well that they should not get carried away with the use of perfumery products. Allergy to strong fragrances is a fairly common phenomenon. Some companies have introduced strict measures in relation to lovers of rich aromas: the use of perfumes is simply prohibited. And as the incident at the Bank of America office has shown, such a practice may well be justified.

More than 30 people were hospitalized on Wednesday in the US state of Texas due to poisoning with perfume vapors, 12 of them are in serious condition. The call came from the Fort Worth financial institution's call center building. First, two people sought medical help.

According to experts, the most common symptoms after dealing with perfumed people are asthma attacks, fatigue, headache, nausea, loss of concentration, irritability and even skin rashes.

The victims complained of dizziness and breathing problems. They felt unwell after a colleague sprayed on perfume. Doctors asked all people with similar symptoms to leave the bank building.

At the moment, 34 people have been hospitalized, 110 received medical assistance on the spot. There is no information on the composition and name of the perfume. An investigation is underway.

As you know, modern cosmetics and perfumery products include synthetic chemicals derived from ingredients such as coal processing products and gasoline. When evaporated and released into the air, they cause allergic manifestations in others - sneezing, coughing, tears, shortness of breath, headache, dizziness and nausea. According to statistics, more than 20-30% of the world's population suffers from allergies to one or another synthetic substance. However, most of them never see a doctor because they are not aware of their illness.
