Cotillard took part in a photo shoot for the French edition of Madame Figaro. Fans immediately drew attention to the actress's hairstyle a la Mireille Mathieu, and fashion observers noted the style of pictures unusual for glamorous publications - Marion posed against the background of burning trees, grass and thick smoke. Most likely these details were created by Photoshop specialists, but impressive nonetheless.

This year, Marion Cotillard was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in Two Days, One Night.

It seems that Cotillard has already begun preparing for the shooting of a new film, which promises to be very exciting. In early February, it was announced the start of filming a film based on the historical action games of Assassin's Creed. Assassin's Creed heroes live the lives of their ancestors who participated in the endless confrontation between Assassins and Templars. The Templars believe that mankind needs the firm hand of a leader, the assassins defend the right of people to free will. What role the actress will play is still unknown.

Earlier it was reported that the main character will be played by Michael Fassbender, and the director is Justin Kurzel, who is also responsible for the new adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy Macbeth, starring Fassbender and Cotillard. It is assumed that Fassbender will play an assassin from the era in which the Spanish Inquisition raged, and his distant descendant.

The premiere is scheduled for December 2016.
