Assassin's Creed heroes live the lives of their ancestors who participated in the endless confrontation between Assassins and Templars. The Templars believe that mankind needs the firm hand of a leader, the assassins defend the right of people to free will. What role the actress will play is still unknown.

Earlier it was reported that the main character will be played by Michael Fassbender, and the director is Justin Kurzel, who is also responsible for the new adaptation of Shakespeare's tragedy Macbeth, starring Fassbender and Cotillard. It is assumed that Fassbender will play an assassin from the era in which the Spanish Inquisition raged, and his distant descendant.
