Recently "Cleo" visited the major summer festival Europa Plus LIVE 2014, where (immediately after the performance) we were able to interview the wards of the legendary Max Fadeev - the SEREBRO group. Despite the recent change in the line-up, the girls continue to light up in front of crowds of thousands of fans and delight the public with new hits.

Sitting in a cozy dressing room trailer, the members of the group - Olga Seryabkina, Daria Shashina and Polina Favorskaya - told us all about the "singing cowards", fans and how scenography is born.

- Are you friends with the Internet?

- What is an unacceptable luxury for you?

Olya: This is a dream! On a summer night. (Laughs).

- Did you have a nickname as a child?

Olya: Oh no, terrible. I will not say.

Dasha: So, say.

Olya: Okay - Ponca. Selyavka.

- Are you an owl or a lark?

Dasha: Owl.

Pauline: Owl.

Olya: And I'm a lark at heart.

- How do you relieve stress?

Olya: And we do not strain!

You often participate in events like this, but big, so to speak, recitals are rare for you, what is the reason?

Olya: It's not that rare, we didn't have them yet. We are, if I may say so, the younger generation, we do not yet see a troupe of artists working with us, which will lead all our "songs about the main thing."

We are not emotionally ready for this, we do not need it yet. We get high, we have fun. We have a huge number of concerts, most of which take place either on the square or somewhere in clubs - in those places where we are in almost full contact with people. It seems to me that this is our greatest merit as artists, and, probably, not every artist can boast that he does not somehow distance himself from the audience, but vice versa.

You are loved not only in Russia, but also abroad, how do foreign fans differ from their own?

Olya: Probably, more readiness for separation - ours must first be rocked. Our souls have been dancing for a long time, but “in a lump in the throat,” but when they say: “Well, okay, that's it! The fence burned down, burn down the hut too,”but the concert was already over. (Laughs). And foreign ones, you come, they immediately turn on online. Although, you know, in our case, there is already a positive trend. We tell them: "Guys, you will dance anyway, either earlier or later, so let's save time and start right now."

By the way, about the fans. Lady Gaga calls her fans Monsters, and you dearly call her Fans. Where does this name come from?

Olya: Fans! (Laugh). They called themselves that, because one of the foreign fans translated fan as "fan" in the Google translator - that's where it came from. It happened so.

Does it happen that the love of fans goes beyond the bounds of decency?

Olya: In our case, this has not happened yet. The most unusual thing is that they got a tattoo with our diamond (group logo - ed.). Well, there is nothing wrong with that. We have the best fans in general. Imagine, girls from Mexico came here to meet us, especially today.

Recently on Instagram we could watch Olya's face bandaged. Everyone was worried that her sprain was not serious. What else is so traumatic, or funny, happened to you during your performances?

Olya: I fell on stage once. You know, I walked and fell into a hole. And from the stress I jumped out of it, it didn't even hurt me. They told me later that I walked, then disappeared and jumped back. Everyone was just shocked. (Laughs).

Dasha: A girl fell on me at the last concert - she stepped on my foot. Yes, different things happen. (Laughs). I had to grit my teeth and keep singing. Here.

Many such groups, like yours, are called "singing cowards" (especially the older generation, grandmothers, watching TV, hardly approve of such behavior). What do you think about it? Where is the line between outright provocations and a quality product aimed at your audience?

Olga: You see, cowards are cowards, grandmothers are grandmothers, girls are girls, and songs are songs. (Laugh).

Okay, let's do it this way: I am not Montserrat Caballe, I didn’t swear on the Bible to sing all the notes always, I’m ready, but I won’t, do you understand ?! But at the same time, not a single person can say that I do not sing, because we always sing live at all concerts. Well, what can you say ?! I am not ready to evaluate myself, but I am ready for someone to evaluate. If for some grandmother we are "singing cowards", then, probably, her artist is Kobzon, but for our generation we are cool girls who sing cool and with whom it is always fun.

Polina: Every age has its own idols. Those who think so … It's just that we were born at the wrong time, and they were in the wrong place, that's why there is such a dissonance.

Olya: But, believe me, when there are cowards - it's already good! (Laugh).

How do your relatives react to your provocative speeches?

Olya: My family very much respect everything that I do. They think everything I do is art.

We sing and I write poetry for our songs - I don't think they are stupid. I write about my real feelings and … I am not carrying something. (Laugh).

No, you know…. Let's all over again - "Hello, who are the fans?" … (Laughs). We are always a little crazy after the concert.

Do you come up with the scenography and costumes yourself? Or are there specialists for all this?

Olya: We do not have scenography.

Dasha: We have everything true and life. Everything goes as it goes. We always go, of course, but everything is born on the stage.

Olya: We never know what will happen with the next song. Each concert depends not only on us, but also on the people who came to it, how liberated they are, how ready they are for everything - so are we. At our concerts, we do not share ourselves with those who have come, we make our time together.

What about the costumes?

Olya: Good! (Laugh).

Do you pick it yourself?

Olya: Always yourself. It is probably already considered bad form not to have a stylist who dresses you, but in our case this is impossible. We are not ready to wear just a brand, but at the same time we do not abandon trends - it is foolish to ignore them. In our case, everything is interconnected: the song, ourselves, and the costumes! One way or another, all this gives rise to a certain image, and if a person comes and says, put on these shoes and this dress, they may just be separate from everything that we do.

And of course your plans, what can your fans expect?

Dasha: In the near future, only work, work and work are supposed.
