John Galliano will create cosmetics for Russians

Many experienced fashionistas still remember with a sigh the collections of the former head of Christian Dior, John Galliano. What luxurious outfits were! And accessories and fragrances! And here is good news for the Russian fans of the master. According to some reports, the fashion designer will now work for us.

According to media reports, the famous fashion designer received an offer from the well-known company L'Etoile. Within the framework of cooperation, Galliano will release his own perfume and cosmetic line. The terms of the contract stipulate that John will start work next week. So the appearance of new products from the master, most likely, can be expected closer to the end of the year.

Recall that three years ago, Galliano was fired from the Christian Dior fashion house with a scandal.

In February 2011, the fashion designer had an argument with a couple of customers at a Parisian restaurant. John reportedly insulted the woman with anti-Semitic statements and threatened to kill her Asian companion. A few weeks later, the British tabloid The Sun published a video featuring a man the newspaper introduced as Galliano. On the recording, you can hear him confess his sympathy for Hitler. The couturier was sued, accused of petty hooliganism and inciting ethnic hatred. After the scandal, the couturier issued an official apology, stating that his behavior was unacceptable, but he also said that other participants in the conflict provoked him to be rude.

In March 2011, the fashion designer vacated the post of creative head of Christian Dior, and a few months later he was fired from his own fashion house, John Galliano, as it belonged to the LVMH concern.
