She, in turn, also ended up in the war, she believes that her father is alive. But are they destined to meet?
“The coming is not a film about victory, but a movie about the conditions under which this victory was forged,” says director Nikita Mikhalkov. “This is an attempt to induce young people to imagine themselves, at least for a second, in the place of those who sat during the war in the cold winter trenches. Therefore, the film turned out to be rather bitter, but it would be simply criminal to forget about the price at which we managed to defeat the enemy during the Great Patriotic War.
