Olga and her husband, television producer Alexei Tishkin, lived together for over 10 years before they decided to get married. Moreover, the couple did it in the USA, while the presenter was preparing for the birth of their first child, in the fall of 2013.

“We walked, walked, you know, past this registry office,” Shelest said. - We found out that a marriage contracted in the United States is valid in all countries of the Hague Convention, that is, in Russia too, and decided: "Let's go." Everything that happened to us afterwards was absolutely fun. You come and apply. You are given exactly 24 hours to think it over. We were ready right away, but still we waited 24 hours according to the law."

However, until now Olga and Alexey have not bothered to obtain marriage documents in accordance with Russian law. “We still cannot legalize this marriage in Russia: all hands do not reach to translate the marriage certificate and put the seal at a notary,” the TV presenter told 7 Days.

Recall that the couple are now raising two daughters: a two-year-old Muse and a six-month-old Iris. Earlier, Olga also explained that she and Tishkin formalized the marriage, "because for one deal it was necessary for us to be married."
