Tibetan hormonal gymnastics for health and longevity was developed thousands of years ago. But it gained wide popularity outside of China only in the 80s of the 20th century. The exercises were first published in the Komsomolskaya Pravda issue.

In the interview, the story was told of how an altruistic worker brought electricity to a small village in Tibet. In gratitude, the monks taught him health-improving gymnastics. Spending 15 minutes daily, a man even at 85 looked and felt at 40.

Many teachings and practices from Tibet have long ceased to be secret and have been thoroughly studied by Western scholars. But science has not reached a complete understanding of all the principles on which simple but effective healing techniques are based.

But this does not prevent medical specialists from confirming the results from the use of Tibetan hormonal gymnastics for health improvement and longevity:

  1. Endocrine system. The word "hormonal" directly refers to the main aspect of the action of exercise. Regular practice helps to establish the work of the glands in the body, which has a positive effect on all life processes.
  2. The circulatory and lymphatic systems. The main exercises of the technique are, in fact, self-massage. This improves the blood supply to the organs and prevents the stagnation of body fluids. So the tissues are better nourished and quickly get rid of toxins, which has a powerful rejuvenating and tonic effect.
  3. Musculoskeletal system. Massage and warm-up of the limbs helps prevent morning swelling and is an excellent prevention of age-related changes in the joints. Thanks to this, even in old age, a person remains mobile and feels younger.
  4. Sense organs. The first exercises of the technique are completely devoted to the improvement of the organs on the head. Hearing and vision decline more slowly with age. Also, a person is less likely to suffer from diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

It is also important to consider that the main effect of gymnastics is achieved through the use of energy practices and massage of acupuncture points.

This heals the body as a whole, and not just the massaged areas. But science is not yet able to fully explain the effect of these actions.

10 exercises for centenarians

It is believed that the best time for gymnastics is early in the morning - before 6 o'clock. Therefore, for maximum effect, it is advisable to train yourself to wake up early. The first steps can be performed while still in bed, but then it is better to lie on a hard surface:

  1. We rub our hands. First, you need to increase the flow of energy to the palms. To do this, lying on your back, you need to raise your hands. Then you need to rub your palms together, as if rolling out a plasticine sausage. If everything is in order with the energy, the skin will quickly warm up. Cold palms after rubbing are a reason to pay attention to your health, but not a reason to interrupt gymnastics.
  2. Healthier eyes … The main energy channel exits from the center of the palm. With this part we close our eyes and press 30 times every second. Force is optional. Then you need to leave your hands for a couple of minutes in front of your eyes in order to additionally nourish them with energy.
  3. Improvement of the ears and vestibular apparatus … We close the auricles with the center of the palms, and put our fingers on the back of the head. We repeat the pressure and the energy drink of the hearing organs, as it was done for the eyes.
  4. Lymphatic drainage of the face and throat. We tighten our fingers, leaving the palm slightly open so as not to block the flow of energy from the channels of the hands. The thumb rests on the back of the earlobe, and the knuckles go down to the cheekbones. You need to hold your fist 30 times from the ears to the chin and back.
  5. Get rid of wrinkles. We put the left palm on the right. The fingers are straightened. With our hands we draw a few centimeters above the forehead from one temple to another, and then back. We repeat 30 times. To get rid of wrinkles, hands can be pressed against the skin, complementing the bioenergetic effect with a regular massage.
  6. Improvement of the pituitary gland and pineal gland. First, it is best to place a pillow or roller under your head to lift the back of your head. Then we put our hands on top of each other again. You must move your palms over your head. First, a line is drawn 30 times from the center of the forehead to the back of the head and back. Then the same number of repetitions is done, but the hands move from ear to ear through the back of the head.
  7. Breathing exercise. Putting your right palm on your throat, move your left hand over the body from the thyroid gland to the navel and back 30 times. The effect of the exercise will be greatly enhanced if you coordinate the movements of the palm and breathing, trying to move only the abdominal muscles.
  8. Improvement of the digestive tract. The right palm remains on the throat. The left one is placed on top. Then both hands go down to the stomach and make 30 circular movements in a clockwise direction.
  9. Fight puffiness … It is important to carry out this stage on a hard surface so as not to create additional stress on the spine. Lying on your back, you need to raise your arms and legs as perpendicular to the floor as possible. Then the hands and feet rotate for 30 seconds in one direction, and then the same amount in the other. After that, they must be shaken with vibrating movements and lowered.
  10. Massage. Sitting down, you need to massage the feet, then the legs and thighs. For gliding, you can use body cream or massage / olive oil. It is important that all movements are unhurried and carried out towards the pelvis in order to improve blood and lymph flow. If there are swollen veins or lesions on the skin, these areas should not be touched.

With proper exercise, Tibetan hormonal gymnastics for health improvement and longevity will have a noticeable effect. But you will only be able to feel it after a while.

When this happens, it largely depends on the state of the body and the person's lifestyle. Illness and bad habits will delay the appearance of positive changes. Daily gymnastics, in turn, will help get rid of both of this and the other.
