Video: How To Get Healthy Glowing Skin In Winter | Winter Skincare Routine For Dry Skin | Do & Don't 2024, November

All women, without exception, want to have firm and smooth skin that you just want to touch. In pursuit of "peach tenderness" we buy a huge amount of cosmetics, visit gyms and spa treatments, do massages, but we are not always satisfied with the result. The fact is that most of us do not attach importance to the needs of the skin at different times of the year: summer care is not suitable for use in winter and can do more harm to our body than good.

We have already said that with the onset of cold weather, facial skin needs more gentle care, aimed primarily at nutrition, and then at hydration. The same applies to the skin of the body: warm multi-layered clothing, more like cabbage, dry air in the room, a general depressed state that sets you up for prolonged sleep, and not for active movement, sudden changes in temperature - all this makes the skin of the body pale, dry and like lifeless, but there is nothing to say about elasticity and fit. The understandable feminine desire to stay beautiful all year round is gaining the upper hand, and we are looking for ways to help maintain skin tone on frosty winter days. If you do not yet possess this "secret knowledge", we are ready to share some beauty secrets.

Fresh frosty air activates the body's metabolic processes, and also serves as a powerful antidepressant.

Don't ignore winter sports

Of course, fitness classes and exercise machines will benefit your skin and also strengthen your muscles, but these types of activities have a significant disadvantage - they take place indoors. It is much better to go skiing or an outdoor skating rink in winter. The fresh frosty air activates the body's metabolic processes, and, which is important for overall health, improves flexibility and coordination and serves as a powerful antidepressant. None of this can be said for the dry air in stuffy sports facilities.

Gentle exfoliators

In winter, our skin becomes drier and more irritated than during the warmer months. You are probably familiar with the state when it even hurts to touch your hands: due to frost and wind, the skin loses its elasticity, it is covered with red spots and cracks. It is difficult to imagine that someone would use rough scrubs on damaged skin. But if there are no obvious wounds on the legs, hips and abdomen, this does not mean that they do not suffer from temperature extremes and multilayered, often synthetic clothing. Take good care of your body: exfoliation should be gentle, abrasive particles should be fine and soft. It is better if the product is tonic and oil-based, so that along with cleansing your skin gets nourishment.

Nourishing creams and lotions

Products that make our skin velvety and pleasant to the touch should now be denser and more oily. Hydration, of course, is necessary for the epidermis all year round, but in winter it fades into the background, yielding the palm to nutrition. If you want to use moisturizers and lotions, it's best to do so at night. In the morning or in the afternoon, take a fatty product that will prevent the appearance of redness and flaking on the skin due to severe frosts and prickly winds. Fatty, nutritious oils like argan, shea, or avocado are great options.

Denser anti-cellulite products

Gels, lotions and light fluids aimed at increasing the elasticity of the skin in problem areas and getting rid of the "orange peel" are not the best choice now. And again we are talking about the content of a large amount of water in such products. You should pay attention to denser creams.

An important point: not a single anti-cellulite remedy will work without a massage, a simple "smearing" will not give the expected result.

Therefore, do self-massage by intensively rubbing the cream into problem areas. The powerful blood flow stimulates the metabolism in the areas of excess fat deposits, which makes the skin more toned and smoother.

Some sun

Of course, artificial, unless you are going to travel to warmer countries.

There is a lot of controversy surrounding tanning in a tanning bed. Someone says that there is nothing more harmful, someone is sure that this procedure is useful.

However, most experts agree on one thing: there are certain contraindications that prevent some people from even looking towards the "artificial sun" (for example, women's diseases, thyroid problems or diabetes mellitus), but in very moderate quantities - about a couple of sessions of 5 -6 minutes no more than twice a year - a solarium is even useful. In winter, when we are so lacking in vitamin D due to the lack of sunlight, a rare visit to the tanning salon will help our skin look better and more toned. Most importantly, remember - you go there not for the sake of sunburn, but to compensate for the winter lack of vitamin D.
