Our first meeting with Diana Gurtskaya took place at Eurovision, when during an out-of-competition concert of Azerbaijani participants, the singer was not allowed to go on stage. Upset Diana wanted to leave the site, but her husband Peter was ready to tear everyone and everything to pieces, if only his wife spoke and left in a good mood. It's amazing how a girl who was blind from birth achieved in this life a dizzying career and a husband with whom you can feel like behind a stone wall. How she did it all, Diana told in an exclusive interview with "Cleo".

Are you friends with the Internet?

I'm friends. On the Internet, I often communicate with fans. Now everyone is hooked on Odnoklassniki, but I still don’t find time for this. Even if it were, I'd rather sit with my son once more. Although I really want to "learn" the computer - I will come from Eurovision, first of all I will do it.

What is an unaffordable luxury for you?

I don’t know about the impermissible, I don’t need any yachts or private planes. For me, the main luxury is cleanliness. It is very important that the hotel room where you arrive smells clean. And everything else is just little things.

What animal do you associate yourself with?

I am very sociable and friendly, so probably with a dog. I can say that I am absolutely definitely not a cat or a bird. For some reason, I am terribly afraid of birds - when I received the "Ovation", they gave me a big Amazon parrot, so I gave it to my friend and even stopped visiting her home until he flew away from her.

What is your psychological age?

It all depends on where I am. Sometimes I’m such a grown-up business woman in negotiations that it’s even the most ridiculous. But actually I am such a chatterbox, laughing, I like to live, to be happy, to hang out laughing, laughing … a pure child!

Diana Gurtskaya, you have an ideal family, a great career. How do you manage everything?

I am madly in love with my work, my whole life in work. You know, for someone, being an artist is just fun or business. They opened a restaurant, opened a salon of some kind, organized a hotel business, there was free money. "What to do next? Let's get drunk! " - there are people who get into the profession in this way.

Everything is different for me - I really live on the stage. I constantly have to prove to everyone that I can and can, that I deserve to do this.

Of course, there are a lot of problems: I was once cut out from federal channels …

Because of which?

They say that it is wrong to show Gurtskaya, she is blind. This can be frustrating for viewers. This is how they know how to compassion in our country, and this is very, very bad. Therefore, I have to achieve everything on my own, with my own hands, with my sleepless nights, with my own labor. They never brought me anything on a silver platter, but that's good. But now I really understand what it means to achieve everything on your own.

Diana Gurtskaya, can you call yourself a workaholic?

I don’t know, I don’t think so. I just love what I do.

Now I am also engaged in the release of my own line of perfumes. Smells are my real weakness. If I walk past a perfume shop, I can't help but stop and try all the new items.

Perhaps I still have such a reverent attitude only to jewelry.

Many people tried to produce their own products - Alla Borisovna, Zhirinovsky, and Valeria. But somehow no one succeeded in becoming a serious player in the market and making their own production a profitable business. Do you think you can do it?

So far, these are only plans, we made several test copies, which we gave to friends at Eurovision. If everyone likes it, I will think about how to develop the business further. Maybe I will produce some other smells under the Gurtskaya brand. But I’m not a business woman, I’m a creative person. The problem is not profit. Now I really like it, but whether it will be successful and whether the project will take place at all is God's will.

Are you a superstitious person?

I believe in God. There are signs, some beliefs that passed from my mother to me from my grandmother, which I follow. For example, there is such a sign - before the concert, do not take flowers, souvenirs or gifts from anyone. This was taught by my former director.

Are you an owl or a lark?

In different ways, I do not consider myself either an owl or a lark. Sometimes I want to sleep early, sometimes I can read until five in the morning.

Do you have a talisman?

My main mascot is my team, which is with me. There is also a medallion with a cross and a photograph of my mother. I don’t wear it around my neck, because it doesn’t always match my clothes, but I try to keep it with me at all times. Mom, I know she is protecting me.

How do you relieve stress?

I don't have stress. There is fatigue, some people incorrectly call it “stress”. You just need to be positive about everything.

Where did you spend your last vacation?

My last vacation never went well. Immediately after giving birth, my husband and I thought of going to the Maldives, but to be honest, I didn't really want to leave a small child. Therefore, when something went wrong and we were forced to return home from the airport, I was only glad.

What melody is on your mobile phone?

Each person has its own. There is something very melodic and romantic about my husband. Beyonce or Aguilera are standing on someone. And for some, even a lezginka. Depends on what I associate with a particular person.

What's your favorite saying?

If you suffer for a long time, then something will work out.

At first it was inconvenient, after all, people come and thank, but he categorically forbade me. My brother and I did not understand this, but then we realized that all artists do this. And my most important sign is that wherever I leave the house, I must cross myself so that God will protect me. So yes, I am somewhat superstitious, but the most important thing is that superstitions do not reach fanaticism.

Diana Gurtskaya, your family looks so perfect from the outside. Please tell us about how you met Peter?

We were introduced by Irina Khakamada, and at first we had an exclusively formal relationship. We spoke to you, he spoke more with my brother Robert than with me. But one day I went on tour, and as soon as I came to my room, bathe and go to bed, the bell rings. I was terribly angry, I remember: who dared to wake me up? And it was he who called. I thought that he needed my brother, offered to convey something. And Peter besieged me culturally, said that if Robert was needed, he would have called him himself. We got into a conversation, then communication began - we talked for half an hour, for an hour, for an hour and a half.

Then on Valentine's Day, he presented me a cake in the shape of a heart, but the hint turned out to be completely incomprehensible - we just ate it, it turned out to be very tasty. And already on the second date we got engaged.

Are there any problems?

Well, this, of course, is not such a problem, but I am very tired of the fact that Peter is a real lark. Well, it's impossible when a person wants to sleep at 9 o'clock in the evening. I am a public person, at night I have to give concerts, perform in clubs. Until five in the morning, sometimes I can just read books, and he goes to bed at 9. It's so boring! But at 5-6 in the morning he is already on his feet, cheerful and cheerful.

Diana Gurtskaya, can you say that you found your ideal in Petra?

What does ideal mean? Peter is a very decent, well-mannered person, not a prince on a white horse.

I don't need to create an idol for myself, I don't need either Tom Hanks or Richard Gere. I have my own Tom Hanks - Peter is such a decent person that I would not trade him for anyone else. I love him madly and I know that he loves me too. We have a perfect family, and it will always be so.
