Friske does not dare to have an operation to remove the tumor. According to the father of the singer Vladimir Kopylov, not a single Moscow neurosurgeon could promise that the surgery would be successful, so it was decided to fight cancer in a less radical way. The performer is now in New York, where she is undergoing chemotherapy.

Vladimir Borisovich also explained why the family did not want to discuss Jeanne's illness. “We didn’t talk for a long time about our daughter’s illness - she didn’t want anyone to think that she was speculating on it.”

Earlier, the neurosurgeon Igor Borshchenko explained to reporters that the primary glioblastoma, which was found in Friske, practically does not metastasize and is amenable to surgical and radiation treatment. “This can be encouraging. There are cases when people recovered completely from such a tumor,”he stressed.
