Singer Zhanna Friske is now struggling with a terrible disease - a cancer. And not without success. Doctors are optimistic and believe that the artist has a good chance of recovery. And nevertheless, the star refuses radical measures.

Friske does not dare to have an operation to remove the tumor. According to the father of the singer Vladimir Kopylov, not a single Moscow neurosurgeon could promise that the surgery would be successful, so it was decided to fight cancer in a less radical way. The performer is now in New York, where she is undergoing chemotherapy.

Vladimir Borisovich also explained why the family did not want to discuss Jeanne's illness. “We didn’t talk for a long time about our daughter’s illness - she didn’t want anyone to think that she was speculating on it.”

Earlier, the neurosurgeon Igor Borshchenko explained to reporters that the primary glioblastoma, which was found in Friske, practically does not metastasize and is amenable to surgical and radiation treatment. “This can be encouraging. There are cases when people recovered completely from such a tumor,”he stressed.

Last week, the star thanked everyone who helped and who supported her with a kind word, and also assured that the funds raised would not only be enough for her, and the remaining money would be donated to treat seriously ill children.

Meanwhile, each day of Zhanna Friske's stay in an American clinic costs $ 3,200. According to media reports, the artist's savings are coming to an end, her apartment in Miami has been sold. Last week, Channel One, together with Rusfond, organized an action to help Zhanna Friske, and raised over 67 million rubles. However, the singer will receive money no earlier than in 75 days. The Rusfond explained this delay by the fact that many organizations are involved in the money transfer system.
