Hollywood is in shock. One of the seemingly strongest star couples has announced a divorce. Celebrity comedian Ben Stiller and his wife, actress Christine Taylor, have officially announced their breakup.

The couple have been married for 17 years. The actors met in 1999 while filming Thermal Vision and Jack, which was never released. According to Stiller, it was love at first sight and he immediately felt a kindred spirit in Christine.

The actors have a 15-year-old daughter and a 12-year-old son. As emphasized in the official statement of Ben and Christine, they will make every effort to ensure that children do not feel discomfort after the breakup of their parents. “We will remain loyal parents and close friends.
