Filming of the drama "Time of the First" is timed to coincide with the 55th anniversary of the first manned spacewalk. According to the plot in March 1960, a special group "1960 BBC No. 1" is organized - a cosmonaut corps. Among them is Alexei Leonov - talkative, not losing his sense of humor even at critical moments, and his complete opposite, Pavel Belyaev.

“This is the story of a man who is left alone with an unthinkable element. We met with Leonov, we are working with him. Our scriptwriters have already flown to Baikonur. These great people (Leonov and Belyaev) deserve to be made a film about them. The director will be Sergei Bodrov,”Mironov told reporters earlier.

Timur Bekmambetov is one of the producers of the film. Earlier, a representative of the film company Bazelevs said that the creators of the film will not have time to finish it by the 55th anniversary of the flight in 2015 and the film will be presented in March 2016.

Now the actor is mentally and physically ready for filming. “The film will feature scenes of cosmonauts preparing for flight. They require a serious load, so I go to a sports club, and before filming I will increase the intensity of the exercises, '' the artist said in a recent interview. “We’ll also go to see how astronauts are being trained today.”

The shooting of the film will take place in two stages: in the summer in Moscow they will build an exact copy of the Voskhod-2 spacecraft, in the winter they will shoot scenes of the emergency landing of cosmonauts in the Perm taiga.
