“After the fight, Roy will record a lyric song with Yelena Maksimova, a participant in the Voice show,” said Jones' promoter Vladimir Khryunov.
Roy Jones is the first boxer in the world to become world champion in four weight categories: middle, second middle, light heavy and heavy. Also, the athlete is seriously interested in performing rap compositions.
Russian citizenship was granted to the American boxer in September. Then the athlete said that he would try to learn Russian. “I want to speak Russian so well that you can understand me without any problems. I think it will take about a year. I hope that next year I will speak like a Russian,”the boxer said.
Speaking about plans for the future, the athlete clarified that he was not going to leave the ring. I'm 46 years old? This is just a figure for me.
