The national anthem will soon sound in a new way. Reportedly, in the coming days, a whole group of popular performers will begin recording a new, more modern recording of the anthem. Moreover, it is planned to record two versions.
Oleg Gazmanov, singers Valeria and Alsu, as well as the famous chanson singer Stas Mikhailov will work on the updated version of the anthem. According to the Department of Culture of the Ministry of Defense, the first day of work on the updated anthem will take place on September 23 this year at Mosfilm.
It is planned to record two versions - youth and classical. The latter will be performed by the Alexandrov Song and Dance Ensemble: orchestra musicians, choir singers and soloists Boris Dyakov, Vadim Ananiev and Vladislav Golikov.
“The next recording of the country's anthem is an important historical event, very important for the propaganda of the main symbols of the Fatherland. I would like to note that in accordance with the decision of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergei Shoigu, the anthem must now be sung daily by servicemen in every military unit throughout the country,”Anton Gubankov, head of the culture department of the Russian Defense Ministry, told RIA Novosti.
The youth version, as Shoigu explained earlier, will be intended for patriotic education. There were also rumors that, perhaps, Lev Leshchenko and Nikolai Rastorguev would be invited for the performance.
As the media remind, the previous version of the Russian anthem for military units was recorded by the Alexandrov ensemble in 2004. 120 choristers and 80 musicians worked on it. In addition, there are several alternative versions of the anthem, recorded by rock and pop artists. The anthem, in particular, was performed by the Lyube group, as well as a collection of popular domestic and foreign artists: Nikolai Noskov, Vladimir Presnyakov Sr., Chris de Burg and others.
