Hollywood star Elizabeth Taylor's jewelry collection is still legendary. And the day before, Bulgari opened an exhibition in its boutique in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles, featuring some of the collection's most luxurious pieces. Moreover, the jewelry was demonstrated by Hollywood stars.

Actress Julianne Moore was honored to be the first (after Taylor, of course) to showcase a gorgeous emerald diamond necklace. This is Elizabeth's wedding gift from Richard Burton. The year before last, the necklace was sold at auction for $ 6, 1 million, but it seems that the cost of the jewelry did not bother Julianne, who posed for reporters in a rather modest coral-colored bustier dress.

Recall that the sale of Taylor's jewelry collection made a splash in December 2011 and set a world record - the jewelry was sold at Christie's for a total of $ 116 million.

However, to the surprise of the appraisers, the most expensive lot was not a 32, 18 carat diamond (the diva practically did not remove the ring with a stone), but a Cartier necklace with the so-called La Peregrina pearl. An adornment with one of the most famous pearls (Peregrina has almost 500 years of history) was sold for $ 11.8 million.
