The past week turned out to be quite traumatic for the stars of Russian show business and sports. On Wednesday, having unsuccessfully slipped, the stylist and artist Sergei Zverev received a broken shoulder. And shortly before the weekend during training, the famous figure skater Evgeni Plushenko broke his wrist.

“Broke the brush. A month in a cast, the athlete wrote in his microblog on Twitter. The skater's fans were worried, but Evgeny hurried to calm them down, writing that “he took steps and fell, didn't feel right away and continued to train.”

Despite the injury, Plushenko continues to train. On Saturday he returned to the ice. “I did 3.5 axel in a cast and all 3 jumps,” the athlete reported.

“Nothing terrible happened to Eugene: he damaged his wrist, falling off the path of steps. The first day ached, did not pay attention, the second day ached, did not pay attention, on the third day they put in a plaster cast. Nevertheless, already today Zhenya trained, performed triple jumps, - the coach of the athlete Alexey Mishin told the R-Sport correspondent on 15 October. "You could say this problem is nonsense."

Yevgeny's wife Yana Rudkovskaya also said that the fracture is unlikely to affect the champion's training schedule. As the producer jokes: “But how to skate, with a broken brush! All are amazed!"

It's just a shame that the skater was injured in one of the first trainings after the break. Recently, Evgeny completed a rehabilitation course at the Burnazyan Federal Medical Biophysical Center. This summer, he underwent knee surgery. After a medical examination, doctors in St. Petersburg banned the Olympic champion from training for 10 days. To undergo a rehabilitation course, he went to Moscow. Perhaps Plushenko will take part in one more Games - in Sochi in 2014.
