Katie Holmes makes her directorial debut

Actress Katie Holmes has often tried herself in various roles over the past couple of years. She was a fashion designer, a host, a model. Now the celebrity decided to try herself in the director's chair. Katie will reportedly direct a film based on the novel "All We Have" by Annie Weatherwax.

According to the official press release, Holmes acquired the rights to film the book, and now the scriptwriter Josh Boone (Josh Boone). The producer will be Robert De Niro's colleague Jane Rosenthal. The start date of filming has not yet been announced.

“I am very pleased and honored to be working with Josh and Jane on a new project,” Holmes said in a statement. "And I'm thrilled to be bringing the awesome characters from Annie's book to the screen."
