The pandemic has made adverse changes in the usual processes occurring with graduates after the 9th and 11th grades. For ninth-graders, the OGE was canceled, and the certificate will be issued on the basis of annual marks. What score is needed for admission to the budget will be determined not only by the region of admission, but also by the chosen specialty.

What's happening in 2020

Long-term quarantine measures aimed at preventing further infection of the population have brought unexpected consequences for the ordinary life of Russians. They affected all important events and influenced their further course. This also affected the admission of schoolchildren to various educational institutions after the 9th grade.

Many parents find themselves in a difficult situation due to the coronavirus. Some had to take vacations at their own expense, or even sit without work. Many people previously counted only on the budget for the children to continue their further education.

Admission to a technical school or college is a double bonus: getting a complete secondary education and a profession, a step towards the opportunity to continue it at a university. However, extreme conditions made their own adjustments to the plans and made you think about what grade of the certificate is needed to fulfill them:

• Previously, the fulfillment of desires could be influenced by the mandatory final exams and two optional ones. However, they have been canceled at the official level. This provision is enshrined at the legislative level not only in the State Duma and the Federation Council, but also signed by the Government of Russia.
• The cancellation of such important stages means that the marking in the certificate will take place in a simplified form - they will be made only on the basis of the annual marks received in the second half of the year. An important role is also assigned to the results of distance learning - a new form of acquiring knowledge for a wide range of people. But its disadvantage is that it is not fully developed. This form of education is perceived as a temporary measure.
• The deadlines for submission of documents have also been postponed - if earlier they ended in July, now you can apply until November 25, especially if free places are still available.

However, even with such perturbations and the decisive influence of grades from the main document received by a graduate without an OGE, there is no single answer to the question of the required number of points.

At the same time, discrepancies may arise with the filing of documents, since secondary specialized educational institutions have received carte blanche from the government to take measures to ensure the further educational process at their own discretion.

How requirements will be formed

Based on the analysis of last year's situation with admission to technical schools and colleges, one can see certain trends in determining the necessary conditions for admission to the budget:

1. The number of places that are allocated in this educational institution for free education and the number of applications submitted for them. With a small competition for some professions, 3.5 points and some portfolio items are enough - for example, participation in amateur performances or the presence of sports talents.
2. In more demanded specialties such as programmers or medical technicians (builders, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, electricians, in large cities - colleges at universities), even 4.5 points are not enough.
3. You should not despair especially - there is always a chance to get into the most unclaimed secondary specialized educational institutions (last year they were plumbers, agricultural professions and gas workers, and what will happen in this - it is not known) to get with 3, 4-3, 5 points.
4. In prestigious professions, even 4, 1 may not be enough for a paid department after the 9th grade, as was the case, for example, with nurses.

What is the point of the certificate needed? The answer to this question is ambiguous. For example, in Novosibirsk there are no paid places for a postal operator, and 3.82 points are needed for free ones. At the Russian New University, budget receipts for hospitality, banking and accounting require 4.75 points; in St. Petersburg, nursing requires at least 4.46.

Although all this is preliminary data and it is not important to study in the capital. In the provinces, this can cost less and without any special problems in admission.
