Yana Rudkovskaya, with whom of the fairy-tale characters did you associate yourself in childhood?

As a child, I really liked the books by Sergei Volkov: "The Wizard of the Emerald City" and others. Since childhood, I have been like the girl Ellie, the heroine of these books. I stubbornly go to my goal, while always helping good people and providing the strongest opposition to the bad ones.

They say that a talented person is talented in everything. Do you agree with this statement?

Yes, of course I agree. True, I would also add that there are no non-talented people in principle.

I heard that you, together with Philip Kirkorov, will produce the TV project "Star Factory-7". Is it really so?

I have not received such an offer. But even if it did, I think I would have to give it up. To produce "Star Factory", you need three months in Moscow. And our work with Dima is now focused mainly on the west, and this is physically impossible.

What is an unaffordable luxury for you?

Probably, for me there is no such thing as an impermissible luxury. At 18, I never imagined that I would ever drive one of the most expensive cars in the world, fly in my husband's private jet and dress from Versace. But, as it turned out, everything impossible is possible.

What animal do you associate yourself with?

With a panther.

Did you have a nickname as a child?

No. Everyone has always loved me, that's why they probably didn't give me nicknames.

Why does a woman need a man?

For self-improvement.

What turns you on?

Work, work and more work

Are you an owl or a lark?

I used to be a morning person, but now, unfortunately, thanks to show business with its nightly events, I have become an owl.

Do you have a talisman?

Not at the moment. But at certain stages of my life, I had a variety of talismans. As soon as this or that thing ceased to bring me only luck, it ceased to be my talisman. Now there is an icon in my car that (pah-pah) protects me from various accidents.

How do you relieve stress?

My friends call me "Energizer battery" because I am never depressed.

Where did you last vacation?

Dima and I (approx. Author - Dima Bilan) have not been on vacation for a long time, we don't even have days off with him. So I cannot remember when I had my last vacation, let alone the fact that I absolutely do not remember where I spent it.

What melody is on your mobile phone?

It is impossible to download any music to my mobile phone, and I don’t need it.

Your favorite saying

My favorite aphorism is the words of Coco Chanel: "Fashion takes to the streets, not comes from them." This aphorism, in my opinion, is applicable not only to fashion, but to all other life concepts. Including show business.

Yana Rudkovskaya, are you thinking about a singing career yourself?

No. Because I need to be the best at what I do. And I do not have such amazing vocal abilities as Dima to become the best European singer.

Which of the domestic pop stars do you consider talented, well, of course, not counting Dima?

Alla Borisovna Pugacheva, Philip Kirkorov, Larisa Dolina, Sofia Rotaru …

Well, if we talk about the modern generation, then these are Vlad Topalov, Sergey Lazarev, Vika Daineko, Yulia Savicheva … And many others.

Yana Rudkovskaya, recently you made your debut as a TV presenter of the program "The Whole Truth About Show Business." How would you define the phrase "show business"?

The fact is that Russian show business is fundamentally different from Western. And its main difference is that we have a lot of free niches. For example, we do not have an R&B singer who would have good vocal and external qualities, who would be able to move correctly. If she appeared, then she would not even have competition and she would undoubtedly become a star.

The most important advice I can give to aspiring producers is: don't listen to other people's opinions. Because when I listened to the advice of famous domestic producers, nothing worked for me. But as soon as I went my own way, focusing on Western show business, then success came.

But I am immensely grateful to Philip Kirkorov and Alla Borisovna Pugacheva for the fact that at any time I could and still can call them and ask for professional advice, and they are always ready to help me.

Have you ever thought about writing a book about domestic show business?

Right now I am negotiating this matter with one of the largest Russian publishing houses. But I am such a person, if I take up a book, I will not hide anything, I will write the whole truth. And then, for sure, this book will become a bestseller … And some people may seriously take offense at me.

Yana Rudkovskaya, this year the Serebro group, a project of Maxim Fadeev, is going from Russia to Eurovision. What do you think are their chances of winning?

Dima and I went through Eurovision and we understand that this is a very serious test for an artist. And it seems to me that a person must have extensive experience on stage to participate in such competitions. The group "Serebro" has a pretty good song. We wish them good luck, but we will be rooting for Dima Koldun (author's note - Koldun represents Belarus). Dima Kolduna is produced by Philip Kirkorov, but we also provide him with our support. Dima has a very interesting song, "Work your magic", and was written by the "magician" of our stage, Philip Kirkorov. The Wizard has a very interesting stage image, and I think he will have a well-choreographed stage number.

Well, next year Dima and I (approx. Author - we are talking about Dima Bilan) are ready to take part in Eurovision again and bring our country to the leading position, even if it drops to the semifinals.

What do you think should be more important for a woman: career or family?

Career. At least for me, career has always been more important. My sons are now four and five years old. My eldest son is a child prodigy. He multiplies two-digit numbers in his head. And the youngest is very passionate about sports, and will certainly become a famous athlete. After the third grade, I think I will have to devote much more time to my children than I do now. And help them develop their abilities. In the meantime, I have no problems with them, and I can fully devote myself to work.

The only thing I can say for sure: I will never persuade them to do anything. At one time, my mother considered a medical education necessary for me. I received a diploma, but in the end it was not useful to me in life.

Yana Rudkovskaya, in Shakespeare's comedy "The Taming of the Shrew" the main character says that women "are only strong by their weakness." Do you agree with this statement?

No. I absolutely disagree. According to Shakespeare, women should be weak. In Russia, the opposite is true. But I'm still a Russian girl and I think that a Russian woman will stop a galloping horse and enter a burning hut.

You own your own network of salons. Do you think beauty and style are inherent qualities, or can they be acquired over time?

Of course there is natural beauty. But there are stylists, beauty salons, plastic surgery. All this is necessary so that any person can look the way he would like it.

Which, in your opinion, is more important: style or fashion?

Of course, style is more important. Now everyone carries Birkin handbags. I myself have such a handbag at home. But I will not wear it to any social events. Simply because it looks silly when all ladies have the same handbag: it seems that they do not have their own individuality.

I believe that Ksenia Sobchak can be called the most stylish Russian women - many do not like her, but it cannot be denied that she has her own style - Alla Borisovna Pugacheva with her boots, boots and loose dresses and Svetlana Bondarchuk, who is always amazing looks like. Well, if a person is dressed like a mannequin in everything from Versace, it's not interesting! I never allow myself to dress like this and always stick to my own style, not fashion.

Yana Rudkovskaya, how do you manage to maintain good physical shape?

I rarely go to the gym. I don’t stick to diets. True, I have not eaten meat for ten years. And I also try to eat three times a day, but little by little.

What was the most ridiculous rumor you've ever heard about yourself?

At about the same time period, articles appeared on the Internet that I was marrying Philip Kirkorov, Evgeny Plushenko and Dima Bilan. And this despite the fact that I am married to Viktor Baturin.

Which authors do you prefer?

Now I have no time to read at all, and I read exclusively professional literature.

I love reading historical literature, especially books about the life of the Russian tsars. I do not like novels, as it seems to me that they are rather frivolous literature.

How would you define happiness?

Happiness is when a person has everything in order to calmly rest and not worry about anything. I have friends who travel from one country to another and they are absolutely happy.

Yana Rudkovskaya, can you call yourself a happy person?

Of course not. I have a lot of unfulfilled desires, a lot of plans and projects that are in development, and if all this were not there, then I would just be bored. A calm life is not for me!
