True, the list includes mainly European countries, as well as the United States. But today a very interesting event for gourmets starts in Lviv.

The IV Chocolate Festival will take place in Lviv from 11 to 14 February. Within the framework of a kind of festival, tomorrow, on February 12, a "chocolate city" will be created. This work will be performed by the famous Ukrainian chocolatier Valentin Stefano, on February 13, the presentation of the longest chocolate cake in the world will take place, and on February 14, guests of the holiday will celebrate Valentine's Day.

Today chocolate is one of the most popular products in the world, the demand for which has not fallen even during the economic crisis. Every year, the inhabitants of the planet spend about $ 7 billion on chocolate. Chocolate festivals are held in various parts of the world. The most famous are in the cities of Hershey, Paris, Amsterdam, Perugia, etc. Usually they last several days and collect tens of thousands of visitors.

During the general celebration, the Chocolate Museum will work, where you can learn about the secrets of chocolate production and hear the history of its appearance.

According to the organizers, in addition to the world-famous Ukrainian pastry chef Stefanyo, the popular Russian chocolatier Eduard Lebedev will share his skill in the chocolate business.

Last year, the Festival of Chocolate in Lviv took place in early March, coinciding with International Women's Day. Then Stefane made for Lviv residents and guests of the city, connoisseurs of chocolate, the symbol of Lviv - a chocolate lion. In addition, the children, under the guidance of adults, built the chocolate city "Chocolate".
