Three days before giving birth, a woman should refuse such types of products as:

After a cesarean section, it is recommended to give up food altogether for one day, and limit yourself to water without gas. On the second day, you should follow a dietary diet, but you will have to exclude foods rich in fiber.

Avoid black bread, raw fruits, bran, and raw vegetables.

Nutrition from 2 to 4 weeks after childbirth

According to the table, you can see what you can eat for a nursing mother in the first month after giving birth, but there are also a number of rules that should be followed when drawing up the menu. The rules include:

  1. Correct use of water. It is possible to restore the usual drinking regime only from the second week of feeding.
  2. Calorie content of dishes. The diet should contain fairly high-calorie meals. A nursing mother should consume at least 3000 kcal per day. This amount will make it possible for a woman's body to fully function, as well as saturate milk with the necessary components.
  3. Diversity in nutrition. Dishes must be varied, while the menu should be made only from those products that are allowed during such a period. After the second week, apples are allowed to be eaten not only baked, but also raw, after peeling the fruit from the skin. At this stage, boiled chicken eggs are introduced, but no more than two pieces per week. The portions should be large in size. The diet includes soups without adding cabbage, butter, boiled potatoes, fish and meat, various fruits and vegetables, as well as cheeses and cereals.

It is worth remembering that a child may be allergic to new products, so it is important to carefully monitor the baby's condition.
