In his message to the Federal Assembly, which took place on April 21, the President of the Russian Federation paid great attention to child benefits in 2021. These included benefits for single-parent families from Putin. There are a number of conditions that must be read before submitting documents.

The purpose of introducing monthly "Putin" payments?

During the message, the President of the Russian Federation said that poverty should not be allowed in families with children. It is difficult for a parent who is raising a child alone to provide him with everything he needs. For this reason, V. V. Putin proposed introducing a monthly allowance for single-parent families.

Benefit amount

In 2021, the amount of payments to incomplete families from Putin will amount to 50% of the child's subsistence minimum established in the region. On average, an amount of 5,650 rubles is expected.

According to preliminary estimates, in 2021 about 360 thousand children will receive payments.

Who will be able to receive?

Not all single parenting parents can qualify for the monthly payment. Families must really need help and meet one of the conditions:

  • mother / father is not indicated on the birth certificate;
  • one of the child's parents was killed or reported missing;
  • the spouse is divorced and one of them is entitled to child support.

Payments will be made only for those children whose age at the time of submission of documents is from 8 to 16 years inclusive.

What other new payments are due to single-parent families?

A single parent raising a child aged 8-16 will be able to receive a lump sum payment in 2021 if their child is in school. The state will pay financial assistance in mid-August. The amount of the allowance will be 10 thousand rubles. Parents will be able to spend this money on preparing their child for school.

The lump sum will be automatically credited only to those parents who already applied for benefits during the pandemic in the spring or summer of 2020. The rest will need to fill out a form on the State Service portal. Parents, whose bank account details have changed since 2020, should do the same.

Vladimir Putin proposed to extend the Rostourism program until the end of the year, in which single-parent families can also participate. After tourist trips within the country, citizens of the Russian Federation will be able to return 20% of the cost. By decision of the President of the Russian Federation, the project will receive an addition, after which parents will be able to get back 50% of the cost of a voucher to a children's camp. These measures will help to send children on vacation more often.
