- Putting the container with tomato puree on the fire and bringing everything to a boil, cook for 30 minutes, at the end add sugar and salt. After turning off the heat, grind the puree with an immersion blender (optional).
- We transfer part of the boiled tomato paste into a suitable container, mix with starch until smooth.
- We turn on the heating again under the container with the remaining paste, as soon as it boils, pour in the paste with starch in a thin stream.
- At this point, we should have prepared a filler from hot peppers and garlic chopped and chopped in a blender.
- We spread the spicy additive, as well as ground pepper in the tomato paste immediately after we complete the infusion of the previously cast part with starch. Knead everything thoroughly, cook for 4-5 minutes, adding vinegar and bay leaf.
- We spread the hot thick tomato paste over sterile jars, sealing it so that no air bubbles form.
We seal the jars with sterile lids, put them away for storage.
Instant tomato paste
It is very simple to make tomato paste at home for the winter, using a simple recipe and mincing the tomatoes.
