The call of a visiting relative turned out to be the last straw in my decision to change something in my usual life.
1 october
I have a truly "wicked morning" today. SMS from my uncle at 7 am: "I will be at the Kievsky railway station on Friday, at 4 pm, come and talk to my next train." Obviously, the answer "I am working at this time" will not only not be accepted, but will also put the final point in communication with relatives. There will be many conversations about how insensitive I became a Muscovite who did not deign to devote time to my uncle. And my uncle, by the way, comes only for the third time in the last six months. If I were immensely happy about this, my parents simply would not leave me alone.
Without getting out of bed, I opened the to-do list for Friday.
Scheduled list | Adjusted list | |
7-00 Walk with the dog 8-00 Charging 8-30 Breakfast 9-00 - 10-30 Drive to work 14-00 Return boots for repair instead of lunch 14-50 Cross with the client at the metro, pick up the documents 18-00 Meeting at work 20-00 Hike to the beauty salon (haircut) 21-00 - 22-30 Drive home 23-00 Walk with the dog 23-30 Dinner preparation 01-00 Sleep |

Well, think about it, I just crossed out half of Friday because of a meeting with my uncle!
I adjusted the to-do list for Friday, did all the morning chores, drive to work and think:
Why do I owe everyone around – I must call a friend, find out how she is doing, I must help my brother with the institute, I must meet with relatives, work, I don’t have time for myself at all, I don’t have time to live”.
I stopped at a traffic light with a huge billboard, which depicts strange green men in active movements with the inscription "How to do everything?" … I got under way, not having time to finish reading, and thought about the little green men. All are the same, as if one was cloned, and now there are a bunch of them, and each is busy with his own business, and one main green man is in time for everything.

Life in a metropolis. Part 3 All my mood, beliefs and desire to start a new life collapsed like a house of cards when I looked at how many fines I had accumulated for driving - 15,000 rubles! At the same time, almost everything is for a dedicated lane for public transport.
