This week the distributors have prepared for us a fair amount of fear: on July 12, a record number of thrillers and horror films will be released.

«1408» is a mystical thriller directed by Michael Hamstrom based on Stephen King. The film tells the story of the horrors that are played out in room 1408 of the Dolphin Hotel. The film stars John Cusack, Samuel L. Jackson, Mary McCormack, Jasmine Jessica Anthony. It looks like the most advertised film of the week, but worthy of the attention of those who are not afraid.

"Night of the Living Dead 3D" - Jeff Broadstreet directed a remake of the classic horror film of the same name. Recall that according to the plot, Barb and Johnny are late for their aunt's funeral - this is where the fun begins … The film stars Brianna Brown, Joshua Deroche, Sid Haig, Greg Travis. Those who watched the "classics" will go to compare and, perhaps, scold, as is usually the case. And those who have not seen the first film will give a more accurate assessment of the merits of the new one.

Movie "Requiem" filmed by Hans-Christian Schmid. 70s, Germany. The 21-year-old "good girl" Michaels lives with her parents: a strong mother and a weak-willed father. The girl suffers from epilepsy, but still decides to leave home - she wants to study at the university.

Michaels moves away from the family, her religiosity evaporates. And suddenly her illness begins to progress, and even aggravated by wild hallucinations. The priest convinces her that she is possessed by demons, and friends ask to see a psychiatrist, but everything is useless …

The film stars Sandra Hüller, Berghart Klausner, Imogen Kogge, Anna Blomayer, Nicholas Reinke. In general, the film is interesting not only as a show. It is cognitive from the point of view of psychology.

"Glitches" - another thriller. William Friedkin told another story of a divorced woman who is afraid of persecution from her ex-husband. And therefore he settles in the wilderness. But you can't just get away from the tyrant …

Cast: Ashley Judd, Michael Shannon, Harry Connick Jr. It will be especially useful to look at frivolous twinkling, so that they take up their minds and begin to beware of the "bad boys".

"Treason" Is a military-themed thriller directed by Billy Ray. The authors say that the plot is based on real events. Young Eric O'Neill joins the FBI and dreams of becoming the best agent. But his task turned out to be unseemly: to expose his mentor, who, according to his colleagues, sells information to enemies … Poor Eric has no escape from spy games. Will he come out alive from this binding?

The film stars Chris Cooper, Ryan Philip, Laura Linney, Caroline Davern. Not very sentimental, but dynamic. It looks like this is the motto of the film week.
