Today is World Chocolate Day. The best way to celebrate this is to eat something chocolatey. Here are 4 recipes that everyone loves, and in addition are very easy to prepare.

Ingredients:

bitter (or black) chocolate - 200 g (2 bars), butter - 150 g, eggs - 3 pcs., granulated sugar - 150-180 g, cocoa powder - 50-75 g, dark raisins - 100 g (if desired, you can replace with prunes or seasonal berries), cognac - 50 g, vanilla extract - 2-3 drops.

Preparation

Rinse the raisins, transfer to a cup and pour over the cognac, leave for 10 minutes. Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it with butter in a water bath (you can use the microwave) in a sufficiently deep container (about 1 liter). Add sugar to the resulting mass, mix and allow to dissolve. Mix with raisins and cocoa. Separate the yolks from the eggs, pour into the chocolate mixture, stir, add 2-3 drops of vanilla extract. Beat the whites until a thick foam and combine with other products, stirring gently.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Grease a mold with a diameter of 20 cm, pour out the finished dough. Bake for 25 minutes. Serve cooled.

American Chocolate Cookies

Ingredients (this amount makes 20 pieces):

flour - 2 cups, butter - 150 g, brown sugar - 1 glass, regular sugar - 0.5 cups, egg - 2 pcs. (one protein will remain), bitter chocolate - 200 g, vanillin - 1 teaspoon

soda and salt - 0.5 teaspoon each.

Preparation

Sift flour, add salt, soda, mix. Melt butter in a deep bowl, mix with brown sugar and sugar. Add 1 egg and yolk from the second egg, vanillin, beat until smooth. Pour in prepared flour and mix.

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees. Grease a baking sheet and cover with baking paper.

Break the chocolate into small pieces, pour into the dough, knead with your hands or with a wooden spatula. Spread the dough with a tablespoon on a baking sheet so that about 6-8 cm remains between the cookies (they will "creep" when baking).

Bake in an already preheated oven for no more than 15 minutes at a temperature of 170 degrees (otherwise you will get dryish cookies).

After removing from the oven, leave on baking sheets for a couple of minutes, then transfer.

Ingredients:

puff cookies - 400 g, dark chocolate - 100 g, milk - 4 glasses, cognac - 100g., butter - 250 g, chocolate pudding - 1 package (sold in stores), sugar - 5 tbsp. spoons

cocoa - 75 g, marmalade - 150 g.

Preparation

Pour 2 tablespoons of sugar and pudding into a saucepan, add 3.5 cups of milk, boil the cream, as written on the pudding package. Cool completely.

Break the cookies into pieces (not very small), sprinkle with milk and brandy. Cut 2/3 of the marmalade into cubes and add to the cookies. Beat the softened butter, add 3 tablespoons of sugar and cocoa.

Stir until smooth. Combine with cooled pudding cream and mix well. Then add chopped cookies and marmalade, mix gently. Take a round deep salad bowl, line with cling film, put the mixture and refrigerate overnight.

The next day, turn the contents of the salad bowl onto a wide plate, remove the foil. You should get something like a slide. Melt the chocolate and pour over the cake. Garnish with leftover marmalade; you can add coconut or whipped cream.

English Chocolate Bread Pudding

Ingredients:

bitter chocolate (70%) - 100 g, butter - 70 g, cream (35%) - 2/3 cup, bread - 200 g (4 slices), egg - 2 pcs., sugar - 1 tablespoon (for those who like sweets - 2-3 tablespoons), vanilla and cinnamon - 0.5 teaspoon each.

Preparation

4 slices of bread (preferably sandwich bread) cut into cubes, after cutting off the crust. Beat eggs in a separate bowl with a pinch of salt.

In a shallow saucepan, combine heavy cream, sugar, half butter, vanilla and cinnamon (you can also use other spices) and put on low heat. Grind the chocolate and add to the same mixture. Stirring constantly, wait until the chocolate is completely dissolved and, without adding heat, cook for another 1-2 minutes.

After removing the mixture from heat, add the beaten eggs and stir until smooth. Add bread cubes and stir, let stand for 5 minutes.

Preheat oven to 190 degrees. Take a round shape and grease with the remaining oil, fill with the prepared mixture. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Remove when the edges are crusty and the center is slightly damp.
